  • The short film had some creepy moments but it would get ruined by a false scare in which the friend would do something that would make us jump. The location was great but it did fall a little flat
  • I liked this movie a lot. I thought that the acting was great and believable as a found footage movie. It was well written and suspenseful. The set up was also original - the haunted museum angle. The writers also have a plausible reason for the footage since this is a high school project.

The big downside is that the ending is weak. It just kind of ends. It is a let down after a great first and second act.
  • After now watching two found footage movies back to back I can confidently say that my faith in the sub-genre is returning.

This Australian made film is only short at around the 40 minute mark but left me astounded just how good it was.

It tells the story of three friends who are making a documentary about the local railway museum and the alleged reports of it being haunted.

A railway museum immediatly is a very original location for a movie like this. Not an asylum or a haunted house but an airy stunning museum filled with trains and memorabilia. For this reason the film really stands out and feels refreshing compared to the majority.

It builds up tension perfectly, has a couple of very clever spots and delivers on every front.

My one complaint and the thing which prevented me giving this a higher rating was the finale. I'm not sure if I missed something or if it was intentionally left ambiguous but the ending being so vague really hurt it for me.

Regardless this is one of the best found footage pieces I've ever seen and would love the films creators to make more.

    The Good:

    Very original

    Well shot

    The Bad:

    Questionable ending

Things I Learnt From This Movie:

Being set in alternative locations is what the found footage genre needs

I probably would have left Ned, I may be a bad person
  • Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie recently...while its a short one, about 45 minutes or so, it was really good. however, I was a bit confused by the ending. was the museum curator really the conductor that was haunting the place? or a relative? If someone could explain that would be awesome.

But I really did enjoy it though. it was spooky and held your interest. definitely give this movie a go.
