In the late 1970s two FBI agents expand criminal science by delving into the psychology of murder and getting uneasily close to all-too-real monsters.
In a few scenes taking place outdoors at the FBI Academy in Quantico, VA automatic weapons fire can be heard in the distance. Although this could be agents training it should also be pointed out that Quantico is also an active USMC training facility.
Throughout the series we often hear music being played in the background during some scenes. On at least three occasions the music being played was released after the time period the series is set (1977). For example Toto's Hold The Line plays on the car radio in the first episode, despite being released in 1978, as well as Boomtown Rats' I don't like Mondays later in the series, which wasn't released until 1979, as well as Gerry Rafferty's Baker Street - released in 1978.
