Memories of Bob Clark (2007)
*** (out of 4)
Rather cheaply produced but entertaining look at Bob Clark who was killed the year before this was released. CHILDREN SHOULDN'T PLAY WITH DEAD THINGS stars Alan and Anya Ormsby and Jane Daly are asked to share a few memories about the director. Alan gets the most interesting moments since he does discuss how he had a falling out with Clark and how the two went decades without seeing one another. The first portion of the running time deals with a quick bio of Clark's movies from his early successes to his later day flops. It also mentions the projects that the director was working on when he died. There's nothing ground-breaking here but if you're a fan of the film in question or Clark in general then you should enjoy this. Again, it's cheaply done but it's good enough to keep you entertained.
