- TriviaThe episode title was inadvertently revealed by director Kevin Smith ahead of its planned reveal when he posted an image of the script cover to his Twitter account. Although he had covered the title with a pen, the paper was thin enough that fans were able to digitally manipulate the picture and pull out text from the second page, which could not easily be seen in a regular version of the photo.
- Quotes
The Flash: Please. Let me help you.
Caitlin Snow: Like you helped your mother? Or Wally? Or me? You keep messing with everyone's lives, wrecking everything, and we're left behind to pick up the pieces from your mistakes. Some things you break can't be put back together.
The Flash: I can fix this.
Caitlin Snow: Oh, like you fixed Cisco's family? You didn't tell Cisco that you screwed him worst of all, did you? You hear that, Cisco? Dante was alive, healthy and happy, until Barry created Flashpoint. When he reset things, that's what killed him. Barry is the reason your brother is dead.

I think the episode as a whole was jumbled and uneven, but there were flashes (pun intended) of greatness. For one, I'm really enjoying Caitlin's time as Killer Frost this year. She has gotten barely anything to do the first two seasons, so seeing her get significant screen time was pleasing. Cisco worrying for Caitlin's goodwill was especially touching. At the same time, the resolution to her issues wasn't earned. You can't spend an entire ¾ of the episode on her transformation, only to change her back once Wally needs help.
I think the episode would have benefited more if they spread both conflicts over different episodes. I'm one of those fans who could care less about anything involving Wally, and this episode didn't do anything to get me excited about his role going for. The tone was on the darker side for the entire episode and all of a sudden, Wally comes in and starts cracking jokes and boasting an unusually gleeful smile. I understand HR and Cisco crack jokes all the time, but it feels far more natural than anything going on with Wally. I have faith in the writers going forward, especially considering how Roy improved on Arrow, but I'm just tired of him right now. He's almost as bad as Carl on Walking Dead.
Caitlin was the designated villain this week, but I loved the ever-so- brief appearances of Alchemy and his boss, Savitar. Savitar dragging Barry through the speed force? That was bada**. It begs the question of how in the world he will be stopped, although Caitlin seemed to scare him away relatively easy. But do I believe the ending reveal of Albert as Alchemy is legit? I'm not sold yet. I thought I remember the producers stating the Alchemy reveal happened in episode 9, like all CW shows, so I guess we shall wait and see.
+Julian reveal
+Savitar
+Caitlin's arc..
- But it was ruined by Wally
-Better suited for right after Flashpoint ended
