  • That grand old icon of Brit Porn "Ben Dover" is not merely an acquired taste, but rather an enigma to an outsider who tries to take his features at face value. This repetitive and way too long exercise pretends to be something like Reality TV but is merely generic sex.

Anticipating today's diet of streaming vignettes, Steve Perry in the character of Ben Dover introduces and sums up each segment as if they were standalone episodes in some demented TV show. On crummy sets he pretends to be traveling across Britain in hopes of coaxing real-life female bartenders into having sex on camera. In America we have what I would consider the lowest of the low in those profitable junkers "Girls Gone Wild", but even those desultory exercises in bad taste on the cheap have location shooting and a sense of real amateurism, both absent here.

Emma Butt is the butt of Perry's dumb patter and attempts at humor, where his frustrated vaudevillian roots surface from time to time. It's obvious he would aspire to be the Benny Hill of porn but that would require some talent.

Emma is a good sport and fun to watch as usual, here sporting normal size big boobs as opposed to the gargantuan (approaching Minka level) tat-tas she currently lugs around. As Perry makes the rounds, frequently returning to Emma's bar because he's stuck with that set, he drags along rather dead-weight sidekicks, ranging from the obscure Jig to inevitable Brit Porn studs Tony Uttley and Dirty Dog.

All the character names equal the players' stage names with one exception: lovely Harvey Jay, whose first name frequently causes confusion (I just had to submit a couple of IMDb fix-its since the database calls her male by mistake) plays Kristal, and she even emphasizes it: "like the champagne".

There's not much to salvage from this mess, though Bluebird's insistence on an orgy has two Black women, Romana Ryder and Jasmine Webb, enjoyably humping our pasty white heroes in an impromptu foursome.
