Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have been locked in to reprise the roles of hero Matt Murdock / Daredevil and villain Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, characters they originally played on the Marvel-inspired Netflix series Daredevil, on the Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again ever since Marvel and Disney+ started pushing the show forward. When their supporting cast was being assembled at the end of 2022, it was announced that Sandrine Holt (American Gigolo) had signed on to appear on the show as a love interest to the Fisk – with the word being that she was taking over the role of his wife Vanessa Marianna Fisk, who had previously been played by Ayelet Zurer on the Netflix show. Apparently there had been scheduling issues with Zurer, who said she was “sad to not take part” in the new series… which, at the time, wasn’t meant to line up with the Netflix show perfectly. Netflix’s live-action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” series is undergoing a change in leadership.

Christine Boylan and Jabbar Raisani will lead the show as executive producers going forward. Netflix has already announced the show has been renewed for two more seasons, concluding with Season 3.
Boylan served as co-executive producer on Season 1 of “Last Airbender,” while Raisani was an executive producer, director, and a VFX supervisor. Avatar: The Last Airbender is heading into its second season with its third showrunner at the helm.
Showrunner Albert Kim, who replaced creators Michael Dante Dimartino and Bryan Konietzko, is also exiting the Netflix live-action series. Co-executive producer Christine Boylan and exec producer Jabbar Raisani — both of whom were hired by Kim — will take over as the drama’s third showrunners for the previously announced second and third seasons.
Sources say Kim’s intention was to lay the foundation for season one of Avatar: The Last Airbender after stepping in for the beloved franchise’s creators. Given the long turnaround time in crafting the series — Netflix ordered it in 2018, the creators left in late 2020 and the show didn’t debut until February 2024 — sources say Kim was ready to move on to new opportunities.

Jon Bernthal Returns As The Punisher Alongside Charlie Cox In New ‘Daredevil: Born Again’ Set Photos
We’re getting a first look at Jon Bernthal’s return as (a bloody) Frank Castle (aka Punisher) in new set photos of Daredevil: Born Again, the upcoming Marvel/Disney+ series, which is currently filming in New York City. In the new photos, we see Bernthal’s Punisher alongside Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock.
Bernthal first played the Frank Castle role on Netflix’s version of Daredevil, debuting the character during second season in 2016. He then went on to play the titular character for two seasons of Netflix’s The Punisher, which aired from 2017-19.
Daredevil: Born Again follows original star Cox as Matt Murdock, a blind attorney-turned-crimefighting superhero, and also features Vincent D’Onofrio reprising his role as mob boss Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin, along Bernthal’s Punisher.
Daredevil: Born Again also stars Michael Gandolfini, Sandrine Holt and Margarita Levieva.

Jon Bernthal's Punisher is officially back in action. New photos taken from the set of "Daredevil: Born Again" have confirmed the return of the actor's version of Frank Castle, who first appeared on the Marvel Netflix shows nearly a decade ago. But five years after "The Punisher" was canceled by the streaming service, Bernthal is reuniting with his old frenemy Matt Murdock (once again played by Charlie Cox).

The above image sees Bernthal looking very much like the Frank Castle fans of the Netflix shows remember -- bloody, jacked, and ready for vengeance on the streets of New York City. You can also see Bernthal and Cox reunited in costume below. Unfortunately, we don't get a great sense of what's going on in the scenes in question, but it certainly looks like they're getting bloody and kicking ass. But are they on friendly terms this time around?...

Daredevil has truly been born again, as more set photos from the upcoming miniseries have emerged. But it’s not just Charlie Cox’s Matt Murdock that we’re getting a glimpse of, it’s Jon Bernthal’s Frank Castle aka Punisher.
In one photo (courtesy of the Daredevil Updates social media account), we see a suited-up Daredevil alongside Castle as the two look off camera to unseen terror. A main draw here might be the shot of Daredevil’s suit, which we previously saw in other set pics but can now see from a different angle and alongside yet another character. More photos also show The Punisher solo, giving a better look at his own get-up, although he does seem a little more reserved than we might be used to of the character. Bernthal first turned up as Castle in the second season of the 2015-2018 Netflix series.

In a world where superhero franchises like Marvel or DC seem to dominate the box office, the adult animated superhero tale of Invincible has quietly emerged as an excellent alternate. Despite not being as big as its contenders, the comic books as well as the animated series with characters like Omni-Man and Invincible have received an incredible reception and praise for rebranding superheroes as someone normal can actually relate with.

If you weren't a fully-grown (or nearly-grown) nerd in summer 2008, it's hard to properly convey the hype that followed the first trailer for Zack Snyder's "Watchmen." Really, you had to be there. But here's a representative bit of trivia: throughout all of 2007, the "Watchmen" graphic novel had sold 100,000 copies; after the trailer dropped, 75,000 copies were sold in the space of a single week. DC Comics had to order a print run of more than a million copies in 2008 just to keep up with demand.
"As far as we can tell from our conversations with the book industry people, there has never been a trailer that did this," Paul Levitz, then-president of DC, told the New York Times. The impact of that first "Watchmen" trailer remains unmatched.

Sometimes, Call of Duty gives players the playground to test their ultimate skills with fast gunplay and objective-based gameplay. Keeping the games’ rules in mind, players often try to make the best of what they’re given. And then, every once in a while, comes a player who will break through the rules without really breaking the game.
In one such instance, the Call of Duty player joined an ongoing game of Search and Destroy, started causing an absolute ruckus by stacking up kills, and ended the game with a nuke. That’s right, someone has managed to call in a nuke in a game mode that doesn’t even support respawning.

This past Wednesday Marvel Studios made a very special casting announcement via their social media platforms. It was a gift much sweeter and tasty than any Valentine’s Day candy sampler. And it’s been in the works for nearly five years. That’s when Disney officially purchased Fox Studios, which finally brought one of the most celebrated Marvel Comics into the “fold”. In the years before the 2008 launch of Marvel Studios, some of their characters were licensed out to several different studios. Sony still has Spidey, while Daredevil, the X-Men, and the Fantastic Four were then at Fox. Marvel has officially confirmed the inclusion of the Netflix Marvel series in the Sacred Timeline of the franchise. Until now, the series Daredevil, Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, and Iron Fist were developed separately from the MCU canon and had only passing references to the movies. But with the shows being placed in the official timeline order on Disney Plus, they have been officially confirmed to be part of the MCU canon.
However, the fact that the Netflix Marvel shows were separate from the films had given the studio the freedom to allow some actors to crossover from the show to the films. But, with the shows being canonized, the portrayal of certain characters may be confusing. One of the biggest examples of this flaw is the casting of Mahershala Ali, who portrayed Cottonmouth in Luke Cage and will be seen as Blade in the MCU.

Nicolas Cage, one of the most talented actors of our time is not a stranger to comic book movies. However, while talking about his further involvement in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Cage told Variety that he does not need to be in the MCU.

Marvel‘s first family has finally assembled. Marvel Studios has now officially announced the performers that will be playing The Fantastic Four in the 2025 film of the same name.
Reflecting the importance of this superhero team to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, there are some big names involved including Pedro Pascal as Reed Richards and Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm. Slightly lesser known but no less interesting are Joseph Quinn (Stranger Things) as Johnny Storm and Ebon Moss-Bachrach (The Bear) as Ben Grimm.
We’ve got a ways to go before The Fantastic Four premieres on July 25, 2025 so let’s spend some of that time delving deeper into an unheralded member of the film’s cast. It's been a long time coming, but Marvel's first family has officially rounded into form. In a shocking and out-of-nowhere announcement this morning, Marvel Studios dropped the bombshell on fans everywhere in a series of social media posts. Simply titled "The Fantastic 4," the studio's long-awaited reboot of the popular comic book superhero team now has a snazzy new logo, release date, and a surprising (and not-so-surprising) cast to go along with it. We already knew that Pedro Pascal had signed on the dotted line to play Reed Richards, but rumors surrounding the rest of the quartet had continued unabated. Well, put those to rest as we can now say that Pascal will be joined by "Mission: Impossible" star Vanessa Kirby as Susan Richards, "The Bear" star Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben/GrimmThe Thing, and "Stranger Things" Joseph Quinn as Johnny Storm. How's that for a flex?
And now, about that logo.
And now, about that logo.
