  • 'SON' featured at the first Fast Anchor Film Festival in February of 2017 and then was screened again at the festivals encore event the following month after high demand.

The film won the 'Best Short Film' award at the fest because of it's gripping, self- contained story that kept the audience on the edge of their seats from start to finish. One audience member writes "A deftly crafted horror film, its genius lay not in reinvention, but in staying true to the genre while packing so much into so little time. It was a difficult balance to pull off, yet Fils (SON) achieved this with a brilliance that made it a worthy winner".

The festival was over-joyed to present it's main award to this film, and are looking out for what Cyrus and team come up with next!

  • Luckily I had the chance to watch this short at the Oxford Int. Film Festival UK 2017. Even it is a horror/triller, the film goes beyond this genres. The story is as well heart-touching at the very end and gave me probing question: what would I do, if I would be in the characters shoes.
  • FILS (Son) is a rare example of masterful story telling. Coming from talented director Cyrus Neshvad, and mixing thriller with horror elements, FILS brings forth a family drama that promises to capture the viewer and haunt him for days.

Rating high on all levels (directing, acting, cinematography) FILS remains one of the top selected films at the 5 years old BELIFF (Be Epic! Film Fest London) promising to sensitise its public.

For its exemplary vision FILS has been rewarded with Best Short Film Award at BELIFF 2016.

Emotion is what cinema is all about!
