It was 7:19 am when Mexico City was hit by the most devastating earthquake in the history of that country. In "7:19", a handful of survivors from different social classes try to stay alive while they wait to be rescued.
During the opening sceen, real live footage from mexican television, prior to the earthquake is heard and shown in Mr. Martin's portable TV set.
During the end credits, real life voice recordings of news casts reporting the Mexico City's 1985 earthquake shown in the film are heard.
