I had about given up on British director Liselle Bailey when I was suddenly bowled over by this terrific feature for Marc Dorcel. She had already helmed a trio of "Whore" films (about Mother, Daughter and Cousin, respectively, last one yet to be released), but casting Sensual Jane in the title role here apparently stimulated the creative juices.
Dorcel ingenue Ines Lenvin is the daughter narrating the tale. For once, the original dialogue track (in English) is retained for release, proving my previous point in discussing the shortcomings of so many recent Dorcel videos, as this time the characters have dimension and immediacy for a change.
Sam Bourne is uncredited, but the youngster from Blighty bearing a big dick does a great job humping Jane in the opening credits sequence, notable for doggy-style sex in which Jane's famous natural breasts swing freely for the fans.
Film is structured around a seemingly endless car ride to college for teen Ines, driven there by her mom's boyfriend Tony De Sergio. They inevitably hook up for some hot May/December sex at a hotel en route, with director Bailey doing her usual cameo thing as the front desk clerk.
Jane is an artist who gives young men lessons (nudge, nudge) and this yields an intense threesome. Bailey has a cryptic but very effective motif in which Jane scoops up spunk after a money shot and throws it on a canvas - I guess Jackson Pollock for the dirty 21st Century.
One of Brit Porn's stalwart performers Tamara Grace is on hand as Jane's BFF, and besides talking dirty she is not above grabbing Ines' young boyfriend for a threesome involving her and Jane, injecting a bit of Sapphic action into the picture. The sex scenes and their narrative context are all successful, proving Liselle's got what it takes after all.
For Sensual Jane fans, this is the biggie, and hopefully will lead to future starring roles for the unique performer. I'm not just a chorus of one here: I checked on a British website devoted to rentals and streaming today, and "My Mother Prefers Young Men" was safely residing in the #1 spot in terms of current popularity.
