A fake end credits runs midway through the movie.
Before the film begins, there is a black background with the words ¨The following is a true story. Or as true as it can be given that Dick Cheney is known as one of the most secretive leaders in history. But we did our fucking best.¨
Halfway through the end credits, there's an extra scene with one of the focus groups seen earlier in the film. One of the men starts claiming the film has a liberal bias. Another man starts debating this with him, the argument soon turns to the subject of President Trump and the first man physically attacks the other man for disparaging Trump. Two of the young women then start discussing the latest Fast and Furious movie, which "looks lit".
The title doesn't appear until 12 minutes in.
Tyler Perry is credited twice in the end credits for his role as Colin Powell.
As the end credits start, there is a series of still images of what appear to be fly-fishing lures. Close study, however, reveals that each lure recalls notable parts of the Bush-Cheney administration. Several of these are also specifically linked with the actor's character. Some of the lures are: the space shuttle Columbia; a microphone connector; an oil drilling rig; a surveillance camera; the Capitol; a Bible; a quail; a heart; a missile; a burning American flag; the White House.
