  Bonnie : That's not true, if you had to be a good person to have a child, I wouldn't have Christy.

  Jill : Can we not talk about her?

  Bonnie : Sure... but you should know, what Christy said about you not making a good mom, that wasn't about you, that was about me.

  Jill : You?

  Bonnie : Yeah, if you've been listening the past few years, I wasn't the best mom to her.

  Jill : So she gets to take that out on me?

  Bonnie : She takes it out on everyone. We were at the movies one time, and she flipped out on this mom who bought her kid one of those big sodas.

  Jill : That's a bad thing?

  Bonnie : Apparently.

• Jill : My doctor said I can start trying to get pregnant again right away.

  Marjorie : That's good.

  Christy : Yeah, so, do you want me to be your pregnancy partner this time?

  Jill : [bluntly]  No.

  Christy : But, I thought we were good.

  Jill : We are, but I've decided to stop trying.

  Wendy : But I thought you wanted to have kids.

  Jill : I do, so I'm going to try a different way. I'm going to foster a child.

  Marjorie : That's great, Jill!

  Jill : Well, I was talking to Bonnie and what she said about bouncing around to different foster homes, I decided the best thing I could do is give one of them a good home.

  Bonnie : Hold on a minute... you're telling us, that something I said, impacted your life in a positive way?

  Bonnie : You hear that?

• Bonnie : [answering her phone]  Christy, where are you?

  Christy : Mom, what's going on?

  Bonnie : Honey, I am so sorry, we all had to rush over to Jill's.

  Christy : What happened?

  Bonnie : Uh... she lost the baby.

• Wendy : I was so much better at karaoke when I was drinking.

  Bonnie : I wasn't there but, no you weren't.

• Jill : When I got mad at Christy for saying what she said, I think part of me was scared she was right.

  Bonnie : Christy doesn't know that. When I was a kid I was bounced around to so many foster homes, I thought anyone who didn't slap me around was 'Mother of the year'.

  Jill : Oh my God.

  Bonnie : The one thing I do know is if you had that baby, you would've loved it like crazy, and that's all that matters.

• Bonnie : Hey, are you supposed to be out of bed?

  Jill : No, but, I thought I'd try being miserable in another room.

• Bonnie : Since you're in such a great mood, how about coming over to our place Friday night for a party?

  Jill : We love parties, don't we, baby?

  Marjorie : It's Christy's birthday.

  Jill : We're busy that night.

  Bonnie : Look at that, she's hating for 2 already.

  Bonnie : Having a snack. I wasn't even hungry, but then I saw the rib eye steak and the indoor grill.

  Marjorie : Bonnie, just because you think it doesn't mean you have to say it.
