  • Thor(Hemsworth) is trying to cope with life in Australia, and his roommate Daryl(Jacobson, the everyman, "straight man"), is trying to cope with, well, him. Turns out that, when he's not saving the world, when he's just at home, living his life, the Odinson can be... kind of a lot to deal with.

This is one of the shorts directed by Taika Waititi. Technically it isn't MCU canon, but that doesn't stop it from being absolutely hilarious. The contrast between the Asgardian and, just, everyday stuff, like playing Connect Four, or cleaning the apartment, makes for amazing comedy. The talented New Zealander thus taps into some of the same material as he did in What We Do in the Shadows, which he made with Jemaine Clement. I am currently circulating a petition that he continue doing this as long as he has a love for it.

It's 4 and a half minutes long. This is found on Disney+. I recommend this to any fan of the brand of humor also seen in Thor Ragnarok. 8/10.

"Team Thor: Part 2" is a live action short film from this year (2017) and it runs for under 5 minutes. The director is again Taika Waititi and Daley Pearson is acting next to Chris Hemsworth like in the first. Waititi is also directing "Ragnarök", the new Thor movie that will come out later this year, so this little film we have here serves as a bit of an appetizer of what Thor is doing until the action returns, namely explain his epicness to school children, discuss household duties with his flatmate, struggle with ignorant humans that won't accept his currency and eventually decide to get a servant. he humor in here was very Ricky Gervais like if you ask me, something that could be taken right out of "The Office" plus the supernatural component of course. Luckily, this film is not entirely about Thor whining constantly how the other Avengers neglected him like the first Team Thor movie. That's why this one here is generally funnier and the awkwardness is somewhat entertaining to watch. I recommend checking it out. I think this one here came with the recent Doctor Strange movie.

Following up on the previous comedic short, Team Thor Part 2 brings audiences back to the dysfunctional friendship of Daryll (Daley Pearson) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth). The mockumentary style provides similar laughs to the first, with director Takai Watiti continuing to tease his tonal adjustment of the Thor franchise. The humor is fun and the relationship between the disgruntled roommates provides plenty of laughs as they have enjoyable chemistry. Although it is a bit of double dipping, Team Thor Part 2 is just as fun as its predecessor. These are the types of character explorations we needed with Disney+.
  • This short film tells the story of Thor having a holiday in Australia. He lives with an office worker's house, and attempts to pay rent with Asgardian coins.

"Team Thor: Part 2" is still lighthearted and funny, but it does not portray Thor to be as silly as the first "Team Thor". The fact that Thor explains how he has got a lot of brains will appeal to many fans and admirers. It is a fun short, and it is worth watching for the eye candy.

This short film is essentially a repeat of the first Team Thor. If you liked that one, you will like this one. If not, you will waste your time with this one. The only memorable addition was the scene where Thor tries to use bulky Asgardian currency.

Seriously so funny, it's hilarious, definitely a 10/10 for this mini!

Chris Hemsworth is Hilarious! So Good! You will love it! Just as funny as the first part!
  • Another fun short of your God of Sparkles.

It's short and sweet and got to see the causal side of the thunderer. I enjoyed it very much. They should do more like a prequel of Fat THOR in Asgard during the 5 year absent of him acting like a 2021 American. I'll finally laugh in amusement instead of shame.

Overall, a great short feature Thor's pal Darryl.

    Warning: Spoilers
The twenty third entry into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Team Thor: Part Two is a funny little setup towards Thor: Ragnarok, a future installment of the MCU. No additional casting was in this film, but the two characters do good with their characters, as per normal. The plot and dialogue was fun with Chris Hemsworths character being told to pay rent or get a job, and Darryl having to "work" with him. Thor, as expected, just gives him trinkets and Asgardian gold, oblivious. All in all, while not as good as Team Thor: Part One, this film is still a funny enough short that serves it's purpose just fine.
  • Meh, funny, but not so. The idea of Thor trying to integrate between humans is interesting, but the scenes that intended to have humour didn't have any. It was more like a boring series of dead jokes. I hardly give it a 5.
  • Still very funny and that was a good idea to do it. I enjoyed it and found it very funny and its like to see Thor live in our modern days. Nice episode.
