The first episode was very good, but the second episode was a real struggle to watch. I couldn't finish it because it dragged on and on.
The audio angle to these cases is interesting, but video is almost always more interesting. That's why I prefer "See No Evil" in this genre.
"Hear No Evil" could be improved if they would edit out about half of each episode. There is a lot of filler and stalling before they reveal the audio of the incident, and even when they do play the audio for you, they do so in brief snippets to obfuscate the truth until the end of the episode.
