Absolutely,this is one of the best movies of year 2017 in telugu. the film is so natural with good emotion.
1. Music is the first thing we have to talk about because it is the soul of the movie. Its too melodious and travels with the movie.And i felt this is one of the best albums of 2017. Shravan bharadwaj had just nailed it.
2.Cinematography was at top notch and not at all as expected for the low budget or medium budget movies.Some of the shots in the movie were amazing ( u dont notice it but u feel it).
3.All the actors in the movie gave their best( and kids were stunning ).but i felt lead actors could have been better but still no complaints...
4.Here comes the best part of the film Writing & Direction . These were done by debut director Gowtam tinnunuri . he is the watchout director for tollywood . Mainly, his screenplay was best, fresh and too rare in tollywood .
Finally,the film came up with good subject that connects everyone and while watching i was into the film and enjoyed thoroughly......

I mentioned this because once u watch the movie u will feel it. Malli rava is best love story made in Telugu in recent times. Sumanth is good but Akanksha is show stealer. Though she was new ,she lifts the story. Preethi is too good in flashback episodes. Three phases - Attraction,Love and belief. The whole movie depends on these three ! Highly recommended for audience who are interested in love genre !

So realistic, hilariously entertaining journey these two take us on. Amazing writing songs visually stunning.. love..friendship..family..plaid into an amazing movie. Keeps you so engaged that when movie ends it feels so surreal that it ended..you wished it would last forever. That's what makes this a great watch. Only wish I didn't have to sub it, kind of loose authenticity of the beautiful language. Watch it and enjoy..

abhinav-abhi469 December 2017The love story starts at the age of 14, call it attraction. But the way its shown or expressed doesn't seem like an attraction. The dialogues are very pleasant. Linking the past to the present is greatly done one of the best screenplays, and the direction is so natural added by the natural acting of the actors from past and present. Added to it the cinematography adds to the brilliancy to the film making. Music and screenplay made me stuck to the movie. Added to it a little comedy is so flowing. No more to reveal have to watch the movie and go home, relax. All together is a nice movie worth to watch. :)

Plot: The story of the film showcases the lives of Karthick(Sumanth) and Anjali during the time zones of 1999, 2012 and 2017. Whenever they get close to each other some problem or the other keeps creeping up between them. Well, what are these problems and how do they get solved is the whole story of Malli Raava.
My Review: Love stories work only when they are made with fresh approach or when the lead pair has an amazing chemistry. New director Gowtam Tinnanuri has tried both techniques which worked well.The love story has three different timelines -- 1999, 2012 and 2017 and they are told in a non-linear way,which gave a new look to the film which is mostly predictable.The film goes back and forth in time and the way the problems and love scenes have been incorporated in the narration is beautiful.
Malli Raava is like a non-linear version of Yeto Vellipoindhi Manasu,where the movie is about the 3 stages of a couple's love story same like here.
Even with clichéd scenes,Malli Raava worked mostly because of two important factors which are performances and music.Heroine Akanksha Singh makes a striking debut and is show-stealer as Anjali. Acting wise, she has done well in her complex role and will surely be an actress to watch out for.There is a scene in first half where she gets emotional hearing hero's struggles to find her.She excelled in that scene.Sumanth is decent but some other actor could have done this role with much impact.Child actors thvik playing the younger version of hero is fine. Preeti Asrani is impressive.Mirchi Kiran provides good laughs.
Major highlight of the movie is Shravan Bharadwaj's songs. They are melodious and constantly appear as bit songs in the background.There are no song and dance sequences shot in exotic locales. And the songs simply conveyed the love two everyday people feel for each other in their thoughts.He surely is a talent to watch out for.
So,Malli Raava is a clichéd love story which works because of impressive actress and soulful music.
My rating 6.5/10. -
This Movie is crafted beautifully by the director. The sole of the movie is its Music which carries the feel throughout. The Non-Linear story telling strikes in every scene and director excelled in this department. We should definitely watch out for his future projects..

Goutham Tinnanuri proved his capability with his debut. Definitely have a bright future ahead in tollywood. The songs are so fresh especially title song & Adugasale. The unconventional climax made film more beautiful.

There is literally no plot. It's just the hero and heroine jacking off to old love for 2 hours and if you're into that then go ahead and waste your time. For the others who actually want entertainment, go to Netflix. Trust me.

This movie is not about larger than life characters - the characters seem very grounded and your average daily life characters. The movie captures the characters beautifully. It captures the emotions of love, doubt and fear very well. It presents the journey of love across a time span of 18 years from 1999 to 2017. The strong second half and the amazing music add to the movie. It is a bitter sweet movie and not your feel good one. The final scene is a surprise and satisfying. It is not so much about story but about how one goes through emotions in a bittersweet love story. People who experienced or like bittersweet romances will find it very good. For others it becomes passable. Gautam is a director to watch out for. The music is simply superb. It elevates the emotions and perfectly complements the mood the scene. It may not be as flawless but I will still put it alongside 96 or Premam.

In generation of movies where hero forcing his love to heroine, love shown as chemistry of skin show, this movie surprises with nice feel good love story. There were few good dialogues and nice comedy for some time. Sumanth, Abhinav were perfect! Heroine debut in this type of role in Telugu movie in this generation is unbelievable. Akanksha is very lucky to get this role and she tried her best. All artists suited well to their roles. Locations and Cinematography were good. Would have been nice if they could have made part-2 of movie to know what happened next :-)

It's a mixture feeling. It really touched my heart. I fall in love with their love ( love emoji (haha) )...
