Boy n girl love each other. Dont ask why. But girl wants to marry an orphan. Again dont ask why. So boy lies to girl that hes an orphan. He marries girl n becomes a ghar jamai. Suddenly boys family moves into girls neighborhood. Dont ask how. Now boy has to pretend that its not his family. What happens next? #JhoothaKahinKa has some funny scenes. Music is bad. The heroines dont contribute much to the story. Running time should be reduced by 20 minutes. Rating 2.5/5.

For what it's worth, Jhootha Kahin Ka (What a Liar) is a lighthearted romantic comedy that serves enough laughs to keep you entertained. The setting itself, convoluted as it may be, is bound to make you laugh and prepare you for a mindless comedy of errors that soon occurs in the film as two men (Omkar Kapoor and Sunny Singh) chase matrimony while trying to secure jobs in Mauritius. Some of the jokes don't land and are borderline cringeworthy, but others provide enough material to laugh at. Unfortunately, the film is mildly sexist and uses age-old Punjabi film tropes to generate slapstick which may annoy some viewers. But if you are looking for a comedy film to end a busy day with, this is it. TN.

Jhootha Kahin Ka - Review 3/5 star. . Every character's performance is good, Sir Rishi Kapoor saves the movie and Jimmy Shergill, all parts are enjoyable but not better than the original "Carry On Jatta". Mr. Director tried well to maintain the same version/comic part of the movie and overall it was good but What Original is Original dude. I will prefer the Punjabi version not this but I enjoyed this too. I'll advice you guys if you understand Punjabi Language then do watch the Punjabi version or if you don't understand punjabi then do give a try start watching from it. Don't worry its not the same story.

Actors are lost and not even trying to get into the character. Not sure how people are saying that it is a good movie. Apparently they dont have exposure to some good cinema. It was absolute headache and I did laugh at how stupid this movie is. Nothing special from a veteran like Rishi Kapoor. Jimmy Shergil is talking non sense bihari hindi mix in a foreign country!!! Rishi Kapoor is shown as Punjabi and Jimmy Shergil could have spoken his mother tongue better than his nonsense. Please save your time. watch something better

But Varun (Omkar Kapoor) has other ideas. He goes to Mauritius to join his college buddy Karan (Sunny Singh) so they can job hunt together.
But once there, he ends up finding a girlfriend before a job. And both get married in a small time then move in with the Mehtas (Manoj Joshi and Lilette Dubey).
'Jhootha Kahin Ka' is positioned as a story of comedy of errors. However, bad screenplay, predictable twists, an annoying background score, repeated gags makes the film falls flat.
it is Rishi Kapoor who saves the day here with good comic act.
Jhootha Kahin Ka has a few moments of comic relief towards the end but overall the film is dud.
A loud and broad- failed comedy. -

It was sad to see that this movie was not promoted well. Therefore the release of this movie did not get audience that it was supposed to get. Movie was full on timepass with some really good moments. All scenes between Rajesh Sharma and Rishi Kapoor were hilarious. Omkar and Sunny were also equally good. Jimmy Shergill as Tommy was damn good. Rakesh bedi and all other support cast were good. I can see that someone review earlier asking why so many things are happening which are not explained. Let me tell u that such movies are brainless comedy and if you are enjoying, you don't have to look for logic. I am 100% sure that once you would watch this movie on TV you won't regret.

deepakdst24 July 2019The whole movie was very funny though Sunny's acting was weak and he was not good in comedy. I enjoyed very much but ending was not good. In comedy the movie was perfect especially in the last 20minutes. The confusion in the wedding was very funny.
