  • It gave me an impression in the beginning just another twisted and touching story of a contester. But I was wrong. It's real and very rare Mongolia story of a kid and his family and reveal the truth of what actually happening in Mongolia now.

Beautiful cinematography, amazing attention to detail. Every shot is simply stunning and full of thought. A subtle yet powerful story about the predicament that is Mongolia vs modernization - albeit without falling to the common trap of over simplification and polarization.
  • I'm always a bit skeptical with Mongoliam films. This one is an amazingly beautiful experience of the country, with incredible landscape and a very emotional story.

This very promising and ever anticipated drama is definitely worthy of all the anticipation and hype.

The actors all do an incredible job, and it is indeed a career defining piece in many ways. All of this, of course, accompined by a stellar script. Truly the unique work of a true auteur. Very emotional and well written drama.

The cinematography, cutting and editing is great, very small scaled and all around very beautifully put together in every sense of the word.

Overall, truly an incredible film that I would definitely highly recommend for any lover of film. It is just very well put together and crafted overall. Great film!
