The work is good, I admit that I cried several times, and overall, I had a good time. However, several points bothered me. First, the writing overall is quite average. Then, all the characters have the same backstories; it's redundant, and you get the feeling of always seeing characters with a similar past.
Furthermore, the final ship of the work is very poorly written. Tohru should have ended up with Yuki, and I'm not saying this because I would like to see this ship, but because it's the logical continuation. Kyo already had Kagura, so why does he send her away? What's the moral behind that? Kagura dedicated her life to him and did everything to have Kyo. It was Yuki who gave her his cap when she was little. Then, the first character of the series we see is Yuki, so it's logical that the main Sohma character ends up with Tohru. Initially, Kyo was just supposed to be Yuki's rival. But it's Yuki who is the first Sohma we follow.
Then, from the beginning, we see that the Mangaka had prepared the YukiTohru ship, but over the seasons, she changed her plan, and that bothered me. Because the Tohru/Kyo ship is forced, we don't understand why Tohru loves Kyo (WTF?), and then introduce a new girl out of nowhere for Yuki. In short, this ship is nonsense.
