Wheelchair-stuck star designer Paul Petit allows the excited sisters Rosalie and Bianca Rothe to bid for a job under his reputed fashion label if they win for him the annual competition of Style fashion magazine in an old, desolate castle. They need the 30,000 Euro prize to pay their recently deceased mother's debts. Selling off her cloths shop stock, they met the main rival, carpenter turned fashion designer Leon Bär, who seems to reciprocate Rosalie's crush ion him. Three days in a row, jury chair Sofia Südwein, who heads a fashion chain, sets a task to complete before night, each judged by a jury of professionals, also including key seamstress Anni Lohse, chief designer Gabriel Winter. Paul Petit promises the sisters cart blanche, yet encourages strife between them as Rosalie seems besotted with main rival Leon Bär, object of vicious rumors, which play a part in a twisted plot of deceit.

Castle hotel owner Simeon Herzog's daughter Isabelle loses a gold chain in a sewer. Diver and aquarium cleaner Jimi Springer retrieves it for her, demanding in exchange a four weeks course by observation how to fit in her society life. She thinks he wants to seduce her friend Olivia, but he crushes on Isabelle. Finally graduated from boarding school, she hopes to win her widower father's approval by joining the family hotel firm, like her two sisters, but Simeon barely trusts her enough to organize the annual children's hospital benefit gala, which also seems to go wrong. Jimi however wins Simeon's respects and helps her approach sponsors differently, showing Isabelle the orphanage where he grew up with fat buddy Heinrich Eisen.
