De drabbade
(2003)

Scary Swedish TV!
A really good and scary TV in 12 episodes. Featuring both Swedish, Danish, Finnish, and Norwegian actors; and a couple of Scottish.

According to an old prophecy from a Scottish woman (witch) in the 17th Century a force will sweep over the earth and a battle between the good and evil will take place. "De Drabbade" (The unfortunate?) are people who over night get unnatural powers. By their actions they choose to serve either side of the upcoming battle. But they are hunted by "the hunter" who tries to stop the whole war by eliminating all the warriors.

Kopps
(2003)

One of the funniest Swedish movies the last couple of years.
The two Fares does it again and even is better than ever!

Director Josef Fares does an even better movie than "Jalla! Jalla!" (2000) and his brother Fares Fares is excellent in the lead role as a cop in a small Swedish Town.

But my favorite is Torkel Petterson in the role as Benny. Benny is a sweat guy who makes headbands to his fellow police men, but dreams of becoming a hard neck American cop.

If you want an easy and funny movie make sure to see this one!

Dr. Strangelove or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Bomb
(1964)

Classic!
This is one of the greatest movies of all time. Excellent dark comedy about the nuclear threat during the cold war. Still very modern! Peter Sellers best performance(s) playing three parts. This is a must see...

Fucking Åmål
(1998)

Just not THAT great!
I can´t understand the greatness of this movie. It´s just an ordinary movie with no known actors and filmed very poorly. All right, its a good movie but nothing more. I suggest you see "American Beauty" instead. I usually prefer Swedish movies when it comes to drama but here I think there are a lot of Hollywood-produced teenager movies that beats this one.
