Le mépris
(1963)

The Point is...
This is it, the finest example of the "moody" genre of film there is! In every way, this film is intense, and the underlying tension never stops, despite a sometimes very misleading surface calm, that allows for a constant shifting of tempo that twist and turns yet is cohesive in a melancholy way. Yet the glimmers of passion and hope tease and lull us into a sense of well being that then is shattered by an eruption of emotion.

From the bland appearance to the heights and depths of the fury of humanity, this film truly explores all that is human, and in a way that is a truth, a unique truth, that is only Godard, and can be performed only by Bardot.

BTW, this is Bardot's BEST. 10 stars all around!

The Demolitionist
(1995)

Come On, now, people!!!
Look, this film is a SATIRE!!!!! Get It???? It's a CAMP FILM!!!! It was done *beautifully*! Nicole was GREAT, Great, Great, and so was the rest of the cast, especially the Mayor and her "accomplices. The whole feel of the film was exquisitely "dark" and "ominous", and is so effective. I have watched it several times, and i recommend all to view it again, in the light of a SATIRE. Then, you will really appreciate what this film accomplishes! And, enjoy the heck out of it!

BTW, it was originally supposed to be the 1st in a series, but unfortunately was insufficient in the box office to justify a sequel. That's a shame. Watch it again, you'll see, it's addictive!

Amanda and the Alien
(1995)

SMRTGRRL has the idea!!!
Once again, Nicole and her unique blend of SATIRE, DRAMA and SEX is put to GREAT use in a perfect vehicle, Amanda & the Aliens!!! (can you spell Marlena D. or Garbo???). Watch it again, from the viewpoint of *satirical comedy*, and then judge the film. It's just Great!!! ONLY Nic could pull it of, and she DOES!

BTW, for those who enjoy this RARE and unique genre, and want to experience another shining example of it, watch "THE DEMOLITIONIST". GREAT!!! (actually, all her films are wonderful small pieces.)

BTW - BTW - if you watched CHARLES in CHARGE, it's amazing to see the beginnings of Nicole's abilities and talents. The seeds of her sardonic sense of humor are clear.

PS - Keep it up Nicole, you are the best all-round actress we have!

Home Fires
(1992)

AHEAD OF IT'S TIME!!!!
This was a GROUND BREAKING series, and Nicole certainly made it so special. Her unique blend of satirical-dramedy and sex appeal gave the whole show an edge that pushed it to new heights.

Add to that no live audience, and no laugh track, and this was quite a show. It made you think & feel, and demanded your attention. A fine work without an audience. Viewers really didn't know what to think about the show (shades of "UNITED STATES/Larry Gelbhart (Mash), another great series with no audience or laugh track that the viewers tune away from, not knowing what emotion to have at any given time). (what doe this say about our abilities (or lack of abilities) to trust our own response instincts?)

If it ever syndicates (doubtful), BE SURE to check it out!!

Baywatch
(1989)

THIS IS IT!!!
Look, this is it! Baywatch!!!

The 2 Nicole Eggert seasons are of course THE BEST!!!!! especially the 1st season, BEFORE she had any cosmetic surgery done!!!! But her acting is GREAT! It seems that the writers had a very hard time trying to figure out what to do with the Summer character. In spite of that, Nicole really delivered some great acting, and her scenes were always very finely performed, and special in the way only she can do. However, in her 2nd season, they did give her a more fulfilling role, and she really ran with it.

Of coarse, since then, in my humble opinion, the show fell apart!!!!

PS - Moving to Hawaii = BIG MISTAKE!!! the whole world watches BAYWATCH in part because it's in LA!!! LA, dream Capital, BABES, get it, remember??????????????????????????

Should have taken the travel budget and used it for better writers!

Charles in Charge
(1984)

WOW - THE BEST!
One of the best comedy series to be aired, referring to the "Powells'" version. Scott Baio & Willie Ames were the best comedy team since Abbott & Costello, and I couldn't be more serious. Watch their timing, the dynamics. It's perfect! Now, add in the rest of the cast, especially Nicole with her own brand of sarcasms, drama & sensuality, and you have it all. something for every one!

A constant supply of really interesting guest stars, and the breaking down of the "4th wall", a la "Dobie Gillis", add really good plots, writing, scripts and storylines, and WOW!!!!!!!!!!! THE BEST!!

Forget I L Lucy, This is where it's at!

Melissa
(1995)

Nicole's Mystery Movie!?!?!
Yes, it is real, and yes, it has Nicole nude, and yes, it is actually her *finest* acting EVER! For real, she obviously devoted herself to this part, and that makes it all the more sad that the film has yet to see the light of day. Will it ever be released? If it is, it will definately boost her career. Stay tuned for more info!!!

Blown Away
(1992)

GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!! GREAT!!!
I love the whole mood of this underrated film. It has a real "dark" ominous feel to it that just doesn't quit. The suspense is just enough to keep you interested, the plot is twisted enough to surprise you, and the acting is good enough to make you care! And, the sexual scenes are INCREDIBLY sensual and exciting, just the best. Tasteful yet explosive, this is a little gem of a film that appeals on multiple levels, making it a great movie for singles and couples alike. Turn down the lights, make sure you have the UNRATED version, and get ready for a nice experience!

Knots Landing
(1979)

THE BEST TV DRAMA SERIES EVER!!!
Yes, I watched the "entire" series, and overall thought that it was excellent in virtually every aspect, and incredibly, maintained that level almost consistently throughout it's run. Really shows that it CAN be done, as they DID IT (pretty much, until the last year especially)

Biggest mistakes: 1] Breaking up Paige & Sumner (BIG BIG mistake} (maybe BIGGEST) (really BIG!) 2] Losing Tonya Crowe (GREAT actress & a BABE!) 3] Losing Abby! 4] Ending the show!!!
