American Outlaws
(2001)

fun for most of the family
I received free preview passes to this movie and thought "what the heck, it's free." Not being a fan of westerns this movie was not on the high end of my to-see list. I was pleasantly surprised when I was became entranced during the first few minutes. I enjoyed this film from start to finish. It has the action to make it a "guys" film and the plot and character development ( plus hot guys) to make it a "chick" flick.

Also, it should be noted that I took my siblings- one older (late 20's) brother, one younger (16 yrs old) brother, and one younger sister (12)-- and everyone enjoyed this movie. It was nice to be able to finally have a movie we could all see without worrying about the little one. And without the rest of us being bored. Thank you Warner Bros.

Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back
(2001)

typical gags galore but oh so funny!
I saw this at a special testscreening for my company. The audience was filled with people who clearly love Kevin Smith's previous work. Even though this movie was filled with typical gags and one liners it was great. Kevin Smith put his odd touch on every joke and made them new. I haven't seen a movie where I have constantly and consistently laughed this much in a very long time. A must for fans of the previous works. But be smart and don't take anyone who is offended by language or who doesn't like the other films. They will NOT like this movie. But I loved it!

Bootmen
(2000)

Wow!
I took tap for a good portion of my life and am very excited to see a movie showing the kind of tap that is really done. Not that hokey "putting on the ritz" type. And these dancers---- WOW! They made me want to get up and dance again. And there was a plot, too. A plot that did not get lost under the taps. A good movie with incredible dancing. See it just for the ending at least!

Love Song
(2000)

Wow. So cute!
I started to watch this movie because of Christian Kane (lindsey on ANGEL) and originally thought it would be nothing more then fluff. And it wasn't. It was pure FLUFF!!! But in a god way! Both Monica and Christian did a good job of being innocent and sweet without making my bloodsugar level rise through the roof. The singing was excellent. I was never a fan of Monica's but I think her voice is beautiful and a good match with Christians (if he actually did his own singing, which I suspect he did). All in all an enjoyable movie.
