Wedding Crashers
(2005)

Crude, Rude, Lame and Trashy
Sadly, especially because the very funny Owen Wilson was in it, if you want to see an unintelligent, extremely crude, soulless movie, go see this one. I got talked into seeing this movie, and it certainly lived up to its R rating. A love story? What a joke. The lamest part (among many) of the movie was when it actually tried to have a serious moment. The whole movie was an insult to the intelligence of the audience. This movie was full of trash from the very beginning. What a letdown, especially from Owen Wilson, who I think is one of the funniest guys on the planet. And Jane Seymore? How shocked I was to see her in this trashy movie playing an equally trashy part!!

Samantha: An American Girl Holiday
(2004)

Touched my heart!
This is the kind of movie that leaves you with a magical, wonderful, warm feeling. It was full of warmth, kindness, giving, bravery, joy, loyalty, beauty... The scenery was beautiful as well and complimented the wonderful storyline, which takes place in the early 1900s. Samantha is shipped off to New York, where she misses her home town and friends. In New York, however, she shows great strength and bravery as we are taken along her adventure. Children and adults alike can enjoy this movie, and Samantha, for the most part, is a wonderful role-model for young girls. I wish more movies were made of this high quality! This movie was an absolute delight, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Maid in Manhattan
(2002)

Wonderful "Feel Good" Movie
So you'll know where I'm coming from, some of my favorite movies are "Parent Trap," "Father of the Bride," "Kate & Leopold." If you like these kinds of movies that leave you feeling good and happy about life, then you'll enjoy this tastefully done movie as well. I could have done without a certain scene between the two, but this movie has a lot to offer, and has a moral to teach as well. It has strong characters of positive principles, and there's even an "older man mentor," like from "Pretty Women," that adds that wholesome touch to the film.

Love Comes Softly
(2003)

Excellent!
This movie is excellent all around, and it greatly held my attention! Not only is it a period piece with interesting history to tell, but it presents a wonderful message and leaves you feeling good about life. Also, Katherine's acting in this movie is superb. A must-see movie!

Zenon: Girl of the 21st Century
(1999)

This movie is STELLAR!
Wow, I haven't seen a movie this good and with this much energy in a long time! Kirsten Storms is just amazing as Zenon. Her confidence, just-do-it attitude, optimism and energy makes the viewer feel alive. This movie is a great adventure, and if you're like me, will leave you feeling alive and inspired!

The Wonderful World of Disney: Goldrush: A Real Life Alaskan Adventure
(1998)
Episode 22, Season 40

Pure Gold!
Here is a movie of adventure, determination, heroism, & bravery. Plus, it's set back in the late 1800s which makes it even more interesting. It's a wonderful, adventurous storyline, and Alyssa Milano is wonderful at playing the wholesome, confident, no-nonsense Fizzy...a great role-model. This is one of my favorite movies. It is a movie to be watched again and again and will inspire you and enrich your life without a doubt. Not only is the storyline excellent, but the movie also has fabulous scenery and music and is wonderfully directed. This movie is as good as gold!

Candles in the Dark
(1993)

Inspiring
In hopes of shaping her up, Sylvia (played by Alyssa Milano) is sent to Estonia to live with her aunt. Though happy to see her family, she wants nothing to do with being in Estonia, a place without the luxuries of home, where most people don't even own telephones. However, once she discovers that Estonia is also a place where Christmas is not allowed to be celebrated, churches are closed up, and most people are living in fear, she discovers a passion to reach out and help. Soon after, she finds herself in the middle of a group effort to help Estonians regain the right to celebrate Christmas, following in her father's footsteps, and falling in love with the leader of the rebellion. However, before she can whole-heartily fight for the Estonians, she must first learn to put aside shallow things and realize what is truly important in life. This is a movie of adventure, heroism, courage, hope, love, compassion and danger. If you're looking to be inspired, I highly recommend it!
