Shark Attack
(1999)

Average
This movie starts out with Steven McKray ( Casper Van Dien ) wanting to go to Africa to investigate a series of Shark Attacks near a remote village called Port Amanzi that has scared the town's tourism and driven fishermen out of business. As our hero visits an old friend, Dr. Miles Craven located in the town he learns his close friend Marc Desantis was killed by a Shark.

Steven McKray a expert marine biologist learns that Marc Desantis sister Corinne Desantis ( Jennifer McShane ) is also in town and meets up with her at the Hook & Net bar where they meet hostile fishermen, who blame American scientists for the Shark Attacks. They soon both find out that Marc Desantis might not have been killed by a Shark after all and both begin to investigate.

This movie is more about Steven McKray and Corinne Desantis looking for the reason why someone killed Marc Desantis and why sharks have turned so violent in this remote village called Port Amanzi. The director in my opinion should have focused more on the shark attacks because in the movie there isn't enough to satisfy the audience, even though the sharks shown in the movie are actually real and cool to watch, the movie lacks any thrill or scary moments when the main cast actually comes face to face with the sharks.

Masters of the Universe
(1987)

Master of the Universe
Masters of the Universe takes place in Eternia and Earth where He-man(Dolph Lundgren)and friends do battle with Skeletor's evil minions, in order to rescue the sorceress and free Castle Grayskull, which has been captured by Skeletor and his evil forces.

This is a great sci-fi action flick fantasy, which is very entertaining and is meant for all viewers of all ages. Surprisingly they do a good job, in showing some parts of Eternia but not all of it is shown in the movie, many things is missing in the movie from the cartoon series. They also did a great job with the costumes, special effects and make-up, especially Beast Man, Karg and Saurod.

As He-Man, Dolph Lundgren does look good in this role. With his hot look going for him, he does a terrific job as He-man, the man is definitely in good shape and must have been told to tan to look as much as possible like He-man.

I miss the good old days when they used to use laser firing guns, sword to sword combat and cool creative monsters.

Silent Trigger
(1996)

Kill Zone
Waxman ( Dolph Lundgren ) is a highly trained, expert assassin working for a secretive undercover organization known as The Agency. After failing to pull the trigger at his target in a previous mission in a unnamed war-torn East European country, Waxman ( Dolph Lundgren )and Clegg ( Gina Bellman ) his beautiful accomplice who is his "spotter" are given one last chance to make things right.

When i saw this movie i was very surprised how creative and stylish this movie turned out to be, the lighting, the soundtrack, locations and characters made this movie my favourite Dolph lundgren movie. I must say that most of the credit must go to the director of this movie Russell Mulcahy, not only he made this movie a very entertaining action film for action fans, he also creates a good style of suspense.

Storm Catcher
(1999)

I Like This Movie
On the final stages of testing a military top secret stealth bomber, Air Force pilot Major Jack Holloway ( Dolph Lundgren ) is accused of stealing the aircraft and being part of a conspiracy. On his way to prison Major Jack Holloway is captured by a military special forces unit called the "Serpent Killers".

With his life on the line, Major Jack Holloway ( Dolph Lundgren ) must do everything he can to escape their captured and find out who they are and what their plans are with the stolen military stealth aircraft bomber. With no one to turn except his friend Sparks, both must find out the "Serpent Killers" true intentions with the Storm Catcher.

I really liked this movie, it's got great military stock footage, which is very well put together with the movie. The story is simple but it will keep you guessing till the end of the movie. It's got great action moments both in the ground and in the air, which i quite enjoyed.

The only negative thing i did not like in this movie was some of the acting by some actors, which was really poor. Dolph Lundgren was the better actor from all the cast and Robert Miano was also good playing the General. In the end if you like action a little bit of drama and a twist in the end of the movie, then you will like this movie.

Direct Contact
(2009)

World Record
Congratulations Dolph Lundgren you just made into the record book, with the most action packed movie ever made. They must have used a whole warehouse full of ammo and fuel just for this movie, tons of explosions and firepower used in this movie. Lots of gore scenes and fights non stop action, if you like action this is it. Enough said!!!

Well Dolph does a lot of running, a lot of chasing, I think the whole idea of the director was just to make an action movie and not he succeed. I gave a 7/10 because i like action but just wish there was more to the story, more mystery and develop the characters better, Dolph is good.

The Mechanik
(2005)

Surprisingly ,Terrific, Movie
Action superstar Dolph Lundgren directs and stars in this explosive and fast-paced action-thriller as a retired Special Forces soldier on a mission of revenge.

The Russian Specialist is terrific and surprisingly intense, it makes you wonder, how did Dolph managed to make such a low budget movie look like a high class movie with a big budget.

Dolph makes the violence in this movie realistic, you will hear bones crack, necks snap and bullets fly causing damage to whatever it hits. Dolph as a great vision as a director and captures the scenes very well in the movie. The locations are very well chosen for the movie and the scenery is breathtaking, especially the overhead shoots throughout the movie.

The cast for this movie is the best i have ever seen in a low budget movie, everyone plays out their role nicely done, Ben Cross does an amazing job with his character and Dolph does a great performance as a very well believable Russian character. This movies belongs on the A-list of movies and deserved a chance in a theatrical release.

Double Team
(1997)

Double Team is Excellent
Hong Kong action director Hark Tsui brings many explosive, fast-paced action scenes in this Jean-Claude Van Damme movie. Many thrilling, breathtaking stunts and action, is well captured in a very good level. Rodman has plenty of time on screen and performs very well as his weird character ( Yaz ). He plays an arms dealer, helping Van Damme into tracking down his family who was captured by the evil and sadistically character played by a well muscled Mickey Rourke who blames Jack Quinn ( Jean Claude Van Damme ) for the death of his son. Jean Claude Van Damme once again proves he is great in action sequences and shows how fast he can be, in his first fast paced-action movie.

The plot is unique and different, Jack Quinn ( Jean Claude Van Damme ) plays the nations top anti-terrorist agent who fails to capture terrorist Stavros ( Mickey Rourke ) and Stavros family is killed in the process. Jack Quinn is taken to the colony for being uncovered and failing his mission. After getting a message from Stavros that he as, Quinn's wife and soon to be born son, he escapes the colony and asks ( Yaz ) Rodman for help. Both travel to Italy, while a vengeful Stavros waits for a final showdown at the Roman Colosseum.

I highly recommend this movie, it is a must see for everyone.

Tarzan and the Lost City
(1998)

Casper Van Dien to the rescue
Casper Van Dien, the hot young actor who starred in Paul Verhoeven's hit, "Starship Troopers," is Tarzan, who, on the eve of the wedding to his beautiful fiancée, Jane (Jane March), is confronted by a vision of the destruction of his childhood home. Torn between staying in England with Jane and returning at once to Africa, Tarzan, Lord Greystoke, returns to his adopted home, where he squares off against European soldiers of fortune, led by the Oxford-educated Nigel Ravens (Steven Waddington), bent on discovering and looting the legendary and mythic city of Opar.

When Jane decides to follow her fiancé Tarzan (Casper Van Dien) into dangerous territory, not only Tarzan must protect the city of Opar but must protect Jane also, while trying to stop Nigel Ravens and his men.

Danger Beneath the Sea
(2001)

Good acting, well done Casper Van Dien
Without the mega-budget and superstars, this B movie is pretty good movie to watch." Admiral Justice (Gerald McRaney) has high hopes for golden-boy Commander Miles Sheffield, (Casper Van Dien) and assigns him to the nuclear submarine USS Lansing. But Sheffield's appointment doesn't sit well with veteran officer Albert Kenner (Stewart Bick), who was passed over for the captain's post; a virulent anti-Communist, Kenner shares his grievances with the sub's like-minded swabbies. An unexpected power surge in North Korea causes a secret, ocean-based missile test to go awry, the resulting jolt disrupts the Lansing's communication systems and gives the erroneous impression that the ship has been attacked. Sheffield, who's untested in combat, advises laying low until he can confirm the hostile strike. But the paranoid Kenner does everything he can to undermine Sheffield's authority and, after they surface in a Korean Harbor, a radioactive powder rains on both the officers. Between the fact that the bay side city is dark (there's been a power blackout) and the nuclear shower, Kenner's worst fears seem to have been confirmed. Though Sheffield's wait-and-see policy is entirely appropriate, Kenner stages a mutiny and allows Sheffield to go untreated for radiation sickness. With his inner circle in place, Kenner activates a nuclear strike against North Korea. An international incident seems imminent; there's no way for Admiral Justice to contact the Lansing so Admiral Justice orders the USS Mako to search and destroy the Lansing.

P.S Great acting from all the cast, especially Casper Van Dien, Gerald McRaney and Ron White.
