Angel
(1983)

One of the best films I've ever seen
One of the best films I've ever seen. The film takes inspiration from some of the world's most macabre psycho murders cases and combines it with an A class script. The results is a cinema masterpiece that you don't see very often. The acting is stunning. It is very interesting and enjoyable to see the sickening mind of a demented serial killer brought to life with such a life like performance. Donna Wilkes, being one of the actors I've never heard of before, delivers one of the most touching performances I've ever seen. It is a very dark film and that is a good thing. I love films that takes its root from reality showing everything as they would in real life with all its tragedies instead of trying to create a cliché happy ending. The film is brutally honest, and that's a good thing. Everything is perfect about this film. I'm glad I've come across it. I wish every film I see is of this caliber. After watching this, I realized this is part of a trilogy. I can't wait to see the rest.

Straw Dogs
(2011)

I liked it a lot
There are some goofs in the film, but I guess it all adds to the plot and makes it an entertaining movie. Why in the earth would the wife show her top to the men. Who on earth would do that? How come six armed men get bested by a couple trapped inside a house? What the film does best is creating tension that keeps building and gets more intense as the story proceeds. There is tension in every line dialog and the actors do an excellent job of delivering them convincingly. Shouts to James Woods for portraying a character that is an absolute ass. There a holes in the plot, and it is not meant to be realistic, but to deliver a great Hollywood experience and I highly recommend it to anyone who looks for an intense movie to be thrilled and have a good time. I haven't seen the version with Dustin Hoffman, but am very interested after watching this.

Lying Eyes
(1996)

Good movie, not perfect, but will keep you interested till the end
The movie does a good job of keeping you interested till the end. The thrill factor is the best aspect of the movie. The story can benefit from more work. It has many holes and you can only completely make sense of it by saying it is a movie after all. For example, the villain seems to have the gift to be able to be every where just at the right time. The characters seemed too rushed on the romance part. There are many clichés too. Still, I find it very easy to watch and entertaining. The actors do a very good job and the filming is good too. Although it is not an Oscar winner, I recommend it. As it is does a good job of keeping you interested and trying to figure out who the villain is. It deserves a chance.
