Orange Is the New Black
(2013)

Running Long
The longest series I have ever watched which was close to 90 hours.

Initially I was not interested in watching the series because of nudity, drug, sex, profane language content; but as the episodes moved on I found it interesting because of the portrayal of all the characters.

The story baseline is the prison life and crimes inside the prison. The episodes revolve around how each of the characters are doing good in their life and they end up in prison life doing some mistake.

I really liked the way they used contrasting short flashbacks for depicting how malice each and every prison inmate are on one side and on the other side how soft-cornered they are to their dear people and how one selfish act of them ended them in prison life.

They have shown how miserable and hard, prison life is amidst the corruption and the politics on the prison administration.

On top of all what made it more catchy was the frequent usage of drama and humour in the scenes.

Wonder
(2017)

Made me think emotionally.
OMG made me cry while watching few scenes.

The lesson that parent's try to teach every special kid is depicted here : You know that you are special and it's not just you who is struggling to make the situation right. The people around you are going to make you feel bad as you are not like one of them. But don't fuss about them, there are more good people around you who like you to be around you than bad people.

Think about your parents, your siblings and everyone in the surroundings who is trying to help you. Parents have dedicated their life for you and they would do anything, literally anything to make you feel normal. They have struggled very hard to bring you up. They did not fuss about it.

Think about your brother/sister, for them getting ignored has become a norm, because you always needed special care. Your sibling did not fuss about it.

Teaching a kid who is special is going to be equally special.

They are going to be a 'norm' only when they realize it themselves, be patient enough to teach them that.

Not just about politics.
Have to give a big kudos to Yogi Babu who nailed in performance.

No other well established actor in the industry would agree to act for such role.

The plot is wittyly chosen digging into all social problems today in India - communal clashes, chavinism, abuse of authority. The parody is the 'single vote' - makes us think why still the constitutional rights of many of the people are influenced or grabbed and why we shouldn't misuse it.

Pun filled with imaginations
The story goes telling the way how the future might be - A man(Nathan Brown by character name) meets with an accident in an AI operated car which malfunctions in an unprecedented way. During the verge of his death, under consciousness he is provided the option to recover from the trauma by risking death or choose an after death life in a virtual world by voluntarily taking death and tranferring his conscious memory to a storage and UPLOAD it to a provider who facilitates the life in virutal world. Though he gains pulses and recovers his girl friend (Ingrid by character name) convinces him not to risk and to choose the after death life. The reason why she forces him is the suspense of the series..

After he(being called as an UPLOAD by then) enters the virutal world he gets inclined to one of his ANGELS (Nora by character name) (Angels are real life persons acting as support/service agents assigned dedicatedly to serve the wishes of the UPLOADs), though he could be in contact with his girl friend and experience everything as in real life together both being connected through AugmentedReality. His ANGEL Nora also gains an attraction towards him and starts thinking of him as her boy friend understanding that he is nice. The story takes a twist when Nora helps to restore his damaged memory files and he finds the real reasons and persons behind his death..

The episodes had appealing elements that made me watch the whole series in single stretch - pun filled dialogues, suspenses, twists, SCI-FI imaginations. A must-watch if you like SCI-FI and romance.

Awesome soundtracks and BGM
Missing the theatrical experience of the BGM. The music tracks are a poison. Movie should be watched with headsets.
