Freud
(2020)

Entertaining
A good entertaining drama set in the 1800s in Vienna. Well made even if there is nothing factual about it however in those times things similar to this did happen. Reminded me of a Jack the Ripper story. It's very violent.

Peyton Place
(1957)

STILL GREAT AFTER 60 YEARS ON
Peyton Place has all the drama for its day and still remains top entertainment after 60 years. Great acting from a cast that have mostly left us today but they have left behind a magnificent drama from a mesmerising book.

French Toast
(2015)

NOT VERY GOOD
Apart from lack of storyline the dialogue is mostly in French and Africanne so unless you can understand either it's very hard to follow.. Very disappointing.

All the Little Animals
(1998)

EXCEPTIONAL AND CRUEL
What a brilliant film. This would have to be one of the best I have seen in years. I watched it today on STAN in Australia.Christian Bale in his early 20s gave a performance as great if not better than he did in EMPIRE OF THE SUN. A cruel but fascinating story and one not to be missed by those who like a well written script. The tension builds and builds to an unexpected climax that will have you gripping your seat.

True History of the Kelly Gang
(2019)

ABSOLUTE TRASH
What can I add that hasn't already been said by other reviewers. This is probably the most disgraceful movie I have ever seen come out of Australia. As most reviewers have not gone passed the first 40 minutes I am wondering how I got to the end. Guess I was just curious to see how bad it could get. What I was also shocked to see was the actor playing Ned Kelly is actually one of the leads in 1917. The language, the sex, the gay themes, the people and their actions are all so degrading.

As for this being a STAN ORIGINAL it is even worse than some of the NETFLIX ORIGINALS.

Drunk Parents
(2019)

THUMBS DOWN FROM ME
Watching on Netflix and definitely a THUMBS DOWN. I agree with most other reviewers, what a waste of time and money making it. Yes so totally bad in every way. Thank the Lord for a fast forwarding button on Netflix.
