I loved it because, this lil girl can really "Hit" bad guys. Lotsa action...I gave it a 7 because they could have done more with "Big Daddy." If you like just plain old violence and killing, then this movie would be it. Really no story, just gratuitous "Ass Kicking" by a 12 year old girl... Loved it...lol Kick Ass really doesn't sell to me. He could have done a little more with his character other than being a lame somewhat of a super-hero crime fighter vigilante with really no skills at all, who by luck happened to appear winning at a losing battle in the early part of the show. He could have done a little more with his character, but I guess it's supposed to be a comedy too. It was an okay movie, the only real thing I liked about this movie is "Hit Girl", and her action moves. She was really good. I wouldn't want my daughter to have her foul mouth, but I wouldn't mind her being able to protect herself and have the confidence and ability to conquer like she does. Good movie, could have been a better story. I don't really know which age group this story was for in the beginning, but with a title like that, and the pure adrenaline violence and foul language...It isn't something you would take your 12 year old daughter, or even so to go see...Strictly adult content.

The Only reason I gave it a 2 is because young A-ang (hated the movie version's pronunciation) was a new kid who did the best he could and was actually adorable and looks the part. He could have been a lot more cheerful, but as this animated series fans know, Ang (pronounced ahng short ah sound) just awoke from what he thought was a short sleep, realized he has been away for 100 years, and lost the only family he knew. He is the last of his people, and is lost and alone for the first time in his young life (However, Ang is a cheerful person who tries to be happy at most, even at the worst times, so Young Noah, be a little more cheerful OK?) . The animated series is fun, loving, and anyone who watches it falls in love with all the characters. What M.Shymalan do is ruined this and placed a whole series of clips, omitted the important ones, and just placed it all in one big jumbled mess. I am sure it is hard to place I don't remember exactly how many chapters into 1 1/2 hours, but at least he could have had a decent writer, or writers put the story together right so that the movie would be somewhat comparable and not confusing. To put it short, anyone who doesn't know the series, would probably think the series was terrible, any one who knows the series, know this movie is no way comparable to the series...the movie is terrible...not the series. I hope they find a new director who knows the story, and understands it. Someone who can vision what the world of bending is and capture Ang and his journey the way it should be. Suggestions on who should be the director for the next books should be sent to Nick. Get rid of M.Night he doesn't know anything about the story. Need a new person to get this story back on track, and not a jumbled pile up. Any ideas anyone?

I liked this movie, could have more of Eddie in it, as he is so cute and adorable. Loved the scene, where he was mumbling trying to speak Spanish just to sneak into a private party. If you are any of these eye candy fans, you may want to watch the movie. I bought it just to see Eddie! Anyways, its a story about two girls who want nothing but love. Gigi and Marlene, wants to have perfect mates. Unfortunately, it seems that they have flaws. Gigi is a Clean FREAK, and her DNA gets in the way of her finding the perfect match. Marlene is taking the Anti-Fat DNA pill to stay skinny. Although she is seeing someone, she fears that if he learns that she is normally FAT, he would leave her. But her so called boy-friend is only there while he is in town for business, so Marlene rarely sees him. Well Gigi's boyfriend breaks up with her because he can't stand her Clean Freak DNA, depressed, Gigi accidentally runs into (literarly) her old college sweetheart with her car. They meet up, and he still has feelings for her. She realizes she still has feelings for him but doesn't remember why they broke up. Till one day she visits his apartment and realizes that he is a MAJOR Slob, and her Clean Freakishness, takes over. Not wanting to lose love, she starts taking the anti-clean pill. But this pill has many side effects, will she get what she wants? or lose him and lose love? Will let you find out by watching this movie...OK, enough about Gigi and oh yeah his name is Anteater (Peter Ho). As for Marlene (naturally plump girl taking the anti-fat pills) in comes Teddy (Eddie Peng ***CUTIE***) who instantly falls for her. He tries his hardest to get her affection doing crazy things, like check her mail, bring her things, and try to sneak in to a Private Tango dinner party...etc...and basically do anything for her. As much as he tries, she is afraid of people finding out who she really is, and only feels for her always absent boyfriend. Till one day, the anti-fat pill goes off the market, and she fears that she will start to get fat again, and lose everything. so she goes on a no-eating diet to keep the weight off. Later she passes out(Low blood sugar), and Eddie is near by to save her and confesses how much he really likes her. He finds out she is taking the anti-fat pill, and says she don't need it. She realizes that regardless of what she looks like, he cares for her as she is, and so she falls for him too. There are quite a few comedic parts in the movie, not the best, but again, it's more eyecandy movie than a good movie. I still like it. Watch the movie and see if you like it too.

It started off pretty weak and slow, I mean a girl w/bad luck because of her name, the way her bed is positioned, etc...and she is telling this to a police officer for whatever reason...oh yeah, to legally change her name... Her co-workers don't think much of her as she is like "The Ugly Betty" of the Group. Till one day when she starts receiving phone calls. Apparently her number gets mixed up w/celebrities and people think that she is the famous singer Tianyu...It gets her annoyed, until she receives a text from Xiaowen, that is where the story gets a good. Hu Ge's character is that of a terminally ill cancer patient whose wish is to have Tianyu sing his song. He mistaken Yishu as Tianyus assistant, and so goes the back and forth of phone tag between Yishu and Xiaowen, all the while, Tianyu is finding it difficult to continue her career as a singer being pressured into making an album that has no good songs. The end is good, very sad...Be prepared for tissues...That is all I am going to say...I agree with the commenter prior to me, I liked this movie...I say it was pretty good...And of course I am a HUGE "Hu Ge" fan anyways, am glad I bought this DVD!!! Should check it out...

Although I only watched it on Youtube...I loved the movie, I don't know why there are those who says Jay can't act, I say he can... I loved this movie. This is the only 2nd movie i have seen of Jay's, and I am a huge fan. I love his music, and his voice is so beautiful. As for his acting, it's rather good... I Love Love stories, and though this is two high school kids, I still love the fact that love has no boundaries, and can travel thru time. There is a similar American movie which starred Christopher Reeves (*aka* superman) and Jane Seymore (*aka* Dr. Quinn, Medicine woman) called somewhere in time, where reeves' character is obsessed with this woman from the past, and goes back to save her...It too is a sad ending, unfortunately, he comes back to the future, cuz he stuck a present day penny in his pocket which forwards him back to the future, and he couldn't' go back to see her...sad cuz he dies only to be reunited with her in death...Glad these two didn't die...Jay is so amazing with the piano. He has so much passion for music, it's a wonder he is so natural for this character that he creates from himself. I say beautifully done, I did have to get a box of tissues...Poor Rain when she thought Sky and Jay were together when she came back... So glad they got together ...They are so good together...I definitely have to add this to my collection now, and now I am a huge Jay Chou fan...and gotta get more of his music and movies!!!

I can't wait for the next one too. Don't want to spoil it for movie goers who haven't seen the movie yet. But I took the kids to see it Friday...and loved every moment of it. There was a lot of laughs from the audience on the funny scenes. CPT Jack was his usual self..."savvy???" and LOVED Him... and of course Will Turner is just one you can keep watching. GREAT Movie...GREAT for the Family...a little scary for the lil ones. OVERALL...Better than the 1st...

It's also a long movie...but was glad of it...As one comment went "Pirates of the Carribeanne 2, is like a thrill ride...", I can't wait to ride it again and again!!!
