Bill & Ted Face the Music
(2020)

id forgotten why i loved movies till i saw this one
Is it perfect ? no .. is it for everyone ? probably not. i suspect it will hit a note with older audiences that watched bill and ted in the 80's/90's

the emotion i experienced after watching this was just pure nostalgia . it didn't take itself seriously , it didn't try to preach nor try and send a political message it was just pure escapism .. something that had been greatly missed from movies for such a long time.

One thing i noticed the most from this movie is that Keanu Reeves's English accent has come on leaps and bound since his role in Bram stockers Dracula. Well done Keanu for nailing it this time around.

More feel good movies like this please Hollywood !!! christ knows we need it

Nighty Night
(2004)

worth a re watch
This is such a hidden gem if you like dark comedy ,, the manipulative Jill Tyrrell is played to perfection. Brilliant performances by the 2 leading ladies Julia Davis and Rebecca Front both deserve far more recognition than they get. I suspect this hits far more notes with female audiences than male ones .. big thumbs up !

The Blues Brothers
(1980)

one of a kind
All u need to know about how great this film is , is to look at its cast ,John Belushi,, Dan Aykroyd, John Candy , Carrie Fisher, James Brown , Aretha Franklyn, Twiggy, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles, and the other one.

Yes its possibly dated, times have changed infact the Nazi scenes remind me of a happier time when Nazis where universally despised but lets not get too political.

its a happy feel good movie with not possibly but defiantly the best soundtrack ever of any movie. the sound track alone is worth a 10

Ive not even touched on the producer , John Landis who to me is one of the finest producers of the 80s. with such credits as the Michael Jackson thriller video and American Werewolf in London ( which has possibly the best on screen werewolf transformation sequences in movie history) you just know your in for a great 2 hours and 13 mins ride.

A cult classic & deservedly so.
