Infinity Pool
(2023)

Messy and disappointing
I barely managed to watch it all the way to the end but if you have better things to watch or do, please go ahead and do not waste your time! The movie starts off a bit slow but it seems to be heading the right direction. Then it takes the wrong turn and all hell breaks loose. Acting is often poor, with Mia Goth that from intriguing manages to become annoying reaching the tippping point after the car chase with her high pitch screaming. The rest of the cast is ok but nobody that stands out in any way, not even Alexander Skarsgård that normally is a solid actor. Brandon Cronenberg is trying hard to follow his father's footsteps but unfortunately he doesn't even get close.

Physical
(2021)

Dark, funny and really enjoyable
Watched the first 4 episodes and got hooked on it. Good acting, dark, funny, love Robe Byrne, she is always very good but as rest of the cast in this case.

Some people complain and low rated this show because it is not 100% on aerobics or because the house's style is more 70's than 80's.

Nobody said it was an aerobics documentary and if you have decorated or remodelled your house in 1975 you are not gonna necessarely change it in 1981 with the 80's style.

I think it is much more realistic than many movies/shows where the decade style is overly exaggerated, especially in the transition period.

Shadow in the Cloud
(2020)

Dreadful movie
Bad acting, dialogues even worse, action scenes ouside the plane that not even Ethan Hunt would dream of(and i have seen all the Mission Impossible movies) gremlins attacking the plane etc etc.. what else?? Oh, what a waste of time!!

Palm Springs
(2020)

Groundhog Day with a twist
Although there are various movies or series about time loops i found Palm Springs very refreshing and entertaining. Good cast, both Andy Samberg and Cristin Milioti at their best. Highly recommended

BrainDead
(2016)

Mistery, fun, politics, scifi, the more the merrier
I have found BrainDead excellent. Razor sharp humour, great combination of scifi mistery, politics satire and fun. The best and most original part of the show are the recap songs, genius!!!!

Revenge
(2017)

Sci-fi at its best
Ok, it is one of those cliché revenge movies and you can expect revenge and violence. But falling off a cliff, getting impaled in tree, freeing yourself in 20 sec by burning the tree, losing litres of blood and still walking around, cauterizing a huge wound while under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms with a beer can that gives you a nice scar tattoo(oh by the way, no need ti cauterize the entry wound at the back, there is none!) massive internal bleeding, then just walk back the desert barefoot heading off to hunt the hunters.... A bit too much??

Into the Dark
(2018)

Dreadful
I watched the first season and thought..what a waste of time. Now i decided to give the second season a go and by the time i've got to the third episode i realized it's even worse. Poorly acted, plots are very bland and the way the stories develop is predictable and frustating at the same time. Even during the quarantene i feel i have wasted precious time. Dont bother watching it
