Stumbled across a gem today
I had not heard of this movie but had decided to watch it casually. But within few minutes into the movie I was captivated by it's naturality and the story build up. And I was happy with the way the climax was neatly and tastefully done. It makes you think ... isn't this exactly how the society responds to a woman's truth?

It's a movie created with an actual feel rather than other female issue themed movies created just to satisfy critics and activist because what the female lead did to the situation felt realistic rather than made up.

Even though I read afterwards that it's loosely based on 12 angry men, I felt that the movie have a distinct uniqueness that is true to itself.

But why Bollywood? Are you punishing us for keeping even the tiniest hope that Bollywood might improve?
Animal is classic Bollywood garbage-rife with misogyny and senseless plot twists. The film lacks a cohesive storyline, drowning in a sea of unnecessary turns. What's truly entertaining is sifting through the suspicious 10/10 ratings. It becomes a game to spot the paid or bot-generated reviews, making this detective work more enjoyable than enduring the movie itself. In the realm of Bollywood disappointments, this movie serves as a reminder of the challenges in Bollywood filmmaking, where lackluster plots, an abundance of unnecessary twists, and a distressing dose of misogyny can overshadow any cinematic potential.

Honest review
Just because a movie is made by good actors, or with lots of money and time, it would not become a blockbuster.

There should be originality. A movie should be entertaining. If the boycott trends were true, then many blockbusters of bollywood would not have made it.

People didn't enjoy the movie, it was not entertaining . That is the bottom line.

Once in a while adaptations or remakes is okay to watch, but every other movie being released is a remake . This is so boring.

It's a pity that a billion dollar industry is not able to produce work that has content. Movie should be innovates, bollywood should think out of the box and deliver some quality stuff.

Such a hypocrite movie
It seems like the creators desperately wants to please a particular set of people. They are behaving like the political parties of kerala.

What did they gain from making such movies?

The story is pathetic. So poorly made and it seems like the writer lost their interest midway and had to somehow finish, wrap up and leave. Can not believe that established and professional actors such as prithviraj has invested time and effort in such flims.

At the end of the film, it left me with a headache.

Waste of 2 and half hours, which never can be undone.

So, please don't make the same mistake and skip it.

Pls stop comparing this with squid game..
This is no where near squid game ( which is awesome and more realistic).

Maybe the idea was good, but when it came into making, it has lost all the gist...

I didn't feel like continuing after 3rd episode.
