Life with Judy Garland: Me and My Shadows
(2001)

GREAT MOVIE/GREAT CAST!!!!
Hello all. This move was better than I thought it would be. Lorna Luft really out did herself on this one. Lorna did a great job in bringing her mother's career to life on the small screen. This movie was mesmerizing. Judy Davis's acting was on point non stop. She really captured the real Judy Garland. She had GARLAND down packed from the way she talked, walked, her gestures with her hands and also the way she smoked her cigarettes. She captured GARLAND's emotions all the way. I am 23 years old and I think the people of my generation only know Judy Garland as Dorothy in THE WIZARD OF OZ but there is much more to Judy Garland than that. When I finished looking at the movie I had to go back and watch my recorded version of Judy Garland's biography from A&E and still I couldn't believe how Judy Davis captured GARLAND so well. Tammy Blanchard was also on point as young Judy. She really captured Judy as a young teen. Tammy could pass as one of Judy's real-life children. She looks so much like her. Tammy is extremely talented and I hope her career goes far. Both these talented women deserve EMMYS this year, there is no doubt in my mind at all. If you haven't seen this movie, it is a must see. Check your local video stores. It is all that and then some. I give this movie a 10 out of 10 all the way. Judy Garland would be very proud of her daughter Lorna Luft. Have a blessed day!!

BEST 70's MOVIE!!!
Hello all. This is the best movie of the 70's and one of the best of all time. If you haven't seen it yet you must see it soon. This is probably Lawrence Hilton Jacobs's first starring role. He is great in the movie and he is very underrated. Glynn Turman shines as Preach. He is also very underrated. This whole movie really captured what it was like back in the 60's for young blacks. It is heartwrenching and very moving. It has comedy and it has heartache. I recommend that everyone see this movie. It is the best. You will not be disappointed.
