You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment
(2024)

Started off good
I was genuinely interested in the results of this study. I thought it was weird that they went fully meat vs fully vegan. It became clear why they did this in the second episode when they didnt really cover the twins or diet at all and switched to environmental issues and the amazon rain forest. They even had a chicken farmer bashing chicken farming. This isnt even believeable. Like don't get wrong, I care about the environment but just make that a separate documentary. This isn't even a health and diet show its more about saving the planet by becoming vegan. Didn't even finish the show as it's pretty obvious what their "findings" would show.

Matt Rife: Natural Selection
(2023)

Couldn't finish
Was really rough. Turned it off at about the 80% mark. I think I laughed one time. This reminded me of the Amy Schumer leather special on a funny level except that one I at least could finish. I'm not really sure what this special was going for or who it was targeting. I love his shorter clips where he is interacting with small crowds but his planned material just doesn't hit. If crowd work is his best comedy then he should have incorporated it with his special like Schultz did on his. At the end of the day he is young and can try again but I really would not recommend anyone bother watching this one.
