Ghostbusters
(1984)

I thought they were going to use vacuum cleaners
I thought they were going to suck up the ghosts instead of blasting lasers which would probably not work in real life as ghosts are immaterial. I think this movie should be classified as just comedy/adventure instead of horror as there were a lot of funny bits and even the scariest bit of the movie wasn't too scary. Walter Peck is sort of the main villain and quite a good one in fact, easily detestable. I would like to see more of them actually attacking the ghosts.

The actors played well and it still remains entertaining after all these years although I dont understand how it has earned its reputation as a classic. It's amusing enough, but not among the greats.

Fantastic Mr. Fox
(2009)

I was confused between Agnes and the mother fox
First I thought that the mother was cheating on Mr Fox although I soon realised that there were two child foxes.

A subtle and personal view of the Fantastic Mr Fox story. I can't stand Roald Dahl but I loved this. I wonder what the old codger would have thought of it. The animation was really good and it at least made it so that they didn't look like robots.(But I guess it was made only 13 years ago so what do you expect)

The story was really child-friendly except for the death of a sewer rat. I liked how they developed the story by using different things. For example, Frozen is almost all based on Elsa not being able to control her powers (at least for the first half ) while Fantastic Mr Fox has many different problems that occur like when Mr Fox solves a problem, another one arises.

Gekijôban Poketto Monsutâ Adobansu Jenerêshon: Myû to hadô no yûsha Rukario
(2005)

One of the reasons I rated this so high is because of Lucario
A really good movie, with a really cool flashback at the start. However, as the title suggests, one of the reasons I am rating this so high is because of Lucario's sheer awesomeness. The plot does have some holes in it, but it is pretty good. I like the ending a lot, and the Regi-Pokemon manage to provide a climax in the movie.

BAD STUFF: It turns out that Mew and the Tree of Beginning are help each other(symbiosis), although I think it is just for the watchers to get interested again(yes, there are some boring bits.). In addition, I did NOT like the playfullness of Mew as it was the whole source of the problem(I like an actual villain and i don't include Team Rocket). Also, as usual, Team Rocket is only used as a comedy source, which I hate.

FINAL RATING: All in all, it is quite a good movie and I'm surprised that it has below 7 before I typed in this review. Anyway, it deserves the 8 that I gave it. GOOD BITS: Lucario continuously Aura Sphering. Regi-Pokemon blasting rocks(very satisfactory). BAD BITS: Brock falling in love with girls(That happens in literally all of the Pokemon movies).

8/10-Good.

Space Jam: A New Legacy
(2021)

Not too bad, I guess
The ending was ridiculous and the endless pushing of Warner Brothers properties was tedious and meaningless to the target audience. Lebron James did a good job, though, as did both Cedric Joe, and Ceyair Wright in the less showy role of the older brother. And Bugs is always fun.

I also thought that some of the popular characters had less of a role to play than some of the unpopular ones, such as Gossamer.
