Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi
(2022)

I don't get it.
So this mini show that was made because Dave had some ideas in a plane is pretty good, but why does it exist? The first episode was meh and for some reason it was the longest, why they didn't just leave this story to the future Ahsoka show? I know that it will be a spin-off to Mandalorian which is many years after the prequels, but couldn't it be flashbacks there for example? Why are the last two episodes here instead of the 5th being in The Clone Wars season 7 and the last episode being in Rebels?

The best parts of this show are the Count Dooku episodes, so why isn't it just a Count Dooku series instead of being half Dooku half Ahsoka which already shined in The Clone Wars?

Anyways, this show is pretty good. I would say all the episodes except the first one are great, but why does it exist?

Velma
(2023)

Yeah, Velma is indid priti bad.
I don't think this show is a 1/10 like many people think, but i definitely see why it's getting this much hate.

First of all, what is the point? The idea is that this show is supposed to be for adults only, but it makes fun of adults who watch animation. So it isn't for adults, it isn't for kids, not even for Scooby-Doo fans. Who is this for?

About the cartoon itself, I don't think i need to tell you all the bad things about it because you're probably sick of hearing It. What i'll do is tell you that there is light in this mess. The animators went all out on specific scenes which should get more credit, I thought Norville was actually fine and not someone that i want to hate forever, the actual plot is kinda intriguing, however the show does not dig it enough to make it stand out.

Don't get me wrong, i'm not defending this Cartoon. It was really bad and all other reviews say most of what I think, but the point is that there's still good things and passionate animators, but it's too bad they got such a tragic project to put their talent into.

Zack Snyder's Justice League
(2021)

Pretty good improvement!
I saw the Justice is Grey version of this movie and it honestly didn't affect what i felt at all. This movie improved Flash and Cyborg a lot to a point that they are honestly the most well crafted characters in the movie. The story is fine, didn't impress me but at least now i can understand the motivations of the character and the story itself in a much clearer way. The cgi is overral pretty good (even though there are some scenes that are weird) and the cast was overral... fine. Gal Gadot and Ben Affleck felt to me that their hearts were not really into the movie, Henry Cavill was good but i wish that he had more screen time, Ezra Miller and Ray Fisher to me were the best (it's kinda sad to think that such a controversial person as Ezra Miller was great here).

The 4 hours could've been easily cut, there are some scenes with Louis Lane for example that feel meaningless and drag the movie a bit. The dialogue was kinda meh to me, but nothing that you'll be mad or anything. Some actors feel like they are here just for the sake of being here like William Dafoe sadly.

Well, overral this movie is good. It's a hard watch, but if you're a fan of super heroes and you're willing to dive into this 4 hours journey, then i think you'll enjoy it.

Kill Bill: Vol. 1
(2003)

Stylish, exciting and intense.
This is the first Tarantino movie i've ever seen, and i gotta say, that's an amazing movie that i can imagine myself rewatching a lot in the future.

The plot is simple, it's there so the amazing action can happen. Even though it is simple, it is still interesting and effective. The acting is great, specially Uma Thurman as Beatrix. The choreography is fantastic, every fight looks great and is fun as hell. The animated scene is also really well done and it perfectly captures Japan's animation style. The direction of the film is also amazing with many great shots, that's thanks to our legend Quentin Tarantino. The soundtrack is unforgettable, there are so many great tracks that fits the movie's style. The cinematography is gorgeous, you can take a screenshot of a lot of scenes and they would all be wallpaper worthy. The characters are not that great (except for Beatrix), but that's fine since the focus of this movie isn't on the characters or the plot.

Overral, this movie feels like one hell of an adventure that is simply... phenomenal A must watch movie.

The Green Mile
(1999)

So, a movie with Tom Hanks based on a book from Stephen King was a masterpiece? Wow, nobody would guess that, am i right?
If you liked The Shawshank Redemption than you should watch this movie. The 3 hours may scare you at first, but trust me when i say that this movie doesn't get boring at all.

When i think of cinema i like to think it as an emotion, a lesson that can dive into the fairy tale that the world can't. That's what cinema is to me, and this movie is certainly that, an emotional piece of art with strong feelings that you'll never forget. A must watch (if you have 3 hours to spare)

The Shawshank Redemption
(1994)

"Wow, a 10/10? Such an unexpected rating to this movie, am i right?"
What else is there more to say about this movie? If you haven't seen it yet, then you're missing out.

This movie gets so much right with such a strength that makes it hard not to love it. It has really good pacing which makes it hard to get bored even if the movie is almost 2 and a half hours, amazing characters that all feel real and three dimensional, great plot that takes a good idea to amazing heights and is able to send a message that you'll carry it in your heart, the shawshank itself feels like a living place, the jokes are also pretty good and they land well, the soundtrack is gorgeous.

Honestly, this movie is an easy must watch, even if you don't really like drama movies. So, give it a try, man!

Halloween Kills
(2021)

Well, there's a lot to love and a lot to hate
I'll start with the NEGATIVE POINTS in my opinion

This movie doesn't really do much to move the story of the new "trilogy", even though there are some stuff that i'm sure they won't forget in the next one. The characters are as dumb as you expect, actually, they are on a new level of dumb that will make you root for Michael. This movie also makes the same mistake that the original Halloween 2 did, which was putting Laurie Strode on a hospital and focus less on her, which this time is way worse to a point that she's not even a character that makes any difference on the story. This movie also suffers from a lack of a protagonist, it keeps introducing you to a character that it wants you to think that it will be the protagonist, kill them and introduce another.

Now the POSITIVE SIDE

Michael Myers here is perfect. They managed to capture the feeling you got from the character in the original movie perfectly "he's pure evil, without any remorse or feelings". The choreography is incredible, a lot of the shots look amazing and they managed to capture the original movie's choreography perfectly. The idea of the whole town knowing about the "boogie-man" and trying to hunt him down is pretty interesting, even though i wouldn't say they managed to execute really well.

Rosemary's Baby
(1968)

Now this, this is a horror movie
Even though this movie does have some problems like the really slow pacing that was normal at the time, subpar performances, i still think that this movie is perfect for what it is trying to be, and that is a psychological horror that will be stuck in your mind. The slow pace actually helps to build on the mistery of the story that makes the ending even more impactful. Once you saw this movie, if you rewatch you'll see all the details that went unnoticed which makes you appreciate this wonderful movie even more.

Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers
(1989)

What a waste of potential
The fourth movie, even though it wasn't amazing, it was at least a decent and really fun movie that opened a lot of possibilities for Halloween 5. Do you think Halloween 5 decided to explore these possibilities? Of course not, it instead decided to destroy characters that were interesting before and bring new pointless characters just so they can die.

This movie feels like a weak thriller to the next movie instead of being a story about Jamie's problems getting worse.

Urban Legend
(1998)

I'm impressed that there are people giving this a 10/10
Man, this movie is so dumb that it makes you want to kill yourself. There's so many fake plot twists to build up to the real one that doesn't make any sense. The characters are as annoying as you can expect. Sometimes, it seems like the cops don't even do their work and how the hell is the killer just fine after getting shot twice, falling off a big school, crashing the car and breaking the window and falling on a shallow river?

Regular Show
(2010)

Really fun for the young audience, really relatable for the older audience
This show is a must watch for any age. It is fun and engaging for young people, while still being really mature and deep for the adults.

Also, don't get tricked into thinking that this show does not have a story because it is not a show where every episode's story is connected to the other. This show is about growing up, hard relationships, broken dreams, hope and nostalgia.

365 Days: This Day
(2022)

0/10, there should be more sex!
This movie's plot is way too complex for my tiny little brain to comprehend, there should be more sex instead of this big plot aimed for Einstein IQ lvl.

0/10 less complex plot and complex characters, more sex cause that's definitely what every movie needs.

Yu-Gi-Oh!
(1998)

Interesting...
The Yu-Gi-Oh anime adaptation from 1998 that isn't well known is way different then what people know about Yu-Gi-Oh. This series has a way darker tone and instead of being only a card anime it actually has different games that Yami make (even though it also has the famous duel monster) that are made from the victim's sin. The lore is decent, but the way it was executed made it look cliche and stupid (like the really irritating power of friendship thing that we are tired to see). The characters are so so, Miho is just a girl who is too innocent made for fan service and comic relief, Anzu is the girl that is cold but friendly and has some lore involving her atleast, Honda is the second comic relief in love with Miho who just see him as a friend, Kaiba is the main villain who has a past story to not make him just a villain, Yumi is the typical innocent boy who is 100% good but has a dark side which is Yami (the best character by far) and Jonouchi which is comic relief with some completely forgotten lore.

The only thing that makes me want to rewatch it is Yami to be honest, his games are all so cool and explore the personalities of each victim.

Carrie
(1976)

A movie that makes you want to watch until the end
Carrie is the perfect example of a movie that escales the mystery and tension to it's climax without disappointing with one of the most disturbing prom scenes and great actors. This movie is definitely a classic about the building of a monster seeking for revenge.

Saw
(2004)

Surprisingly good for a low budget movie
The theme, the ending with one of the best plot twists ever, the games. Saw is a must watch movie for those who enjoy thriller and even horror movies.

Ultimate Marvel vs. Capcom 3
(2011)

Kick-ass
Even though this game has terrible balance (as usual from the MvC series), a terrible online and a not really good arcade, this game is still awesome and represents the comics in 3d style so damn well.

Ultra Street Fighter IV
(2014)

Almost as good as 3rd Strike
The only bad thing that i have in mind about this game is the animated endings for each character on the arcade mode that are poorly animated and the online. Besides that, this game is awesome.

Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike - Fight for the Future
(1999)

The best Street Fighter game that has aged great
This game is amazing, the only bad thing that i have in mind about this game is that the roster isn't well balanced.

Avatar: The Last Airbender
(2005)

One of the best cartoons ever made
Avatar the last airbender is amazing, the characters are all lovable with strong personalities, the voice actors are perfect, the story is fantastic with amazing adventures, the fight scenes are really well animated and it's amazing how the series never lost the impact it had at first because the three seasons are all amazing. If you haven't watched Avatar yet, go watch it, it's not really long and it's amazing.

The Godfather
(1972)

Masterpiece of the cinema
It's hard to find bad aspects about this movie. It captures the mafia life perfectly, the actors are so good, the story is incredible and the drama is so fascinating that makes the movie extremely intriguing.

Death Note: Desu nôto
(2006)

If the anime ended in episode 25 then it would be an easy 10/10
This anime was amazing from episode 1 to 25, they didn't waste good ideas and made one of the best rivaltys i've ever seen, and the script is genius. However after the episode 25, the anime got way worse and even though the ending was good, the anime didn't have the impact that it had before with way less interesting characters.
