Godzilla vs Zoolander I don't even know where to start here. I enjoyed it's predecessor Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S and was really looking forward to this one. Especially, when I found out it would have some of the retro monsters in it. Boy, was I disappointed!
The film runs 2 hours and 5 min, which turns out to be about an hour and a half too long. The director seems to think he's directing a music video. Short fight scenes with cameos from back in the day monsters, CGI overload, the main villain looks and acts absolutely ridiculous, but the score though....just unforgivable. Do I really need to hear out of place hip hop techno beats at every turn? I've never been one to be hard on movies. I can watch "B" movies all day long, but this movie just sadly screams "hey younger generation, look at me". 50th anniversary deserved better.
