Gojira: Fainaru uôzu
(2004)

Godzilla vs Zoolander
I don't even know where to start here. I enjoyed it's predecessor Godzilla Tokyo S.O.S and was really looking forward to this one. Especially, when I found out it would have some of the retro monsters in it. Boy, was I disappointed!

The film runs 2 hours and 5 min, which turns out to be about an hour and a half too long. The director seems to think he's directing a music video. Short fight scenes with cameos from back in the day monsters, CGI overload, the main villain looks and acts absolutely ridiculous, but the score though....just unforgivable. Do I really need to hear out of place hip hop techno beats at every turn? I've never been one to be hard on movies. I can watch "B" movies all day long, but this movie just sadly screams "hey younger generation, look at me". 50th anniversary deserved better.

Daddy Day Camp
(2007)

Not as bad as everyone says it is
This was not bad at all. Be honest, most of the negative reaction came before anyone even saw this movie (due to Eddie Murphy's absence). Everyone is stuck on "Cuba won an Oscar and now he's making this?". I thought it was a good idea not to have Cuba Gooding Jr act like Eddie. Cuba doing an "Eddie" impression for 90 min would have been a mistake. He's his normal neurotic/slightly geeky self. Director Fred Savage did a capable job. Hopefully, he gets another shot at a major studio release. Yes, the first one is better, but this is not a bad sequel. Maybe it could have saved itself some abuse by being released direct to video.

Starship Troopers
(1997)

Gross
I'm a big sci-fi fan. Never read the novel but, this movie has great special effects and pretty good action scenes. So why only the bad review? Because Paul Verhoeven over does it (as usual) and makes the movie absolutely grotesque and sickening. People are burned up, mutilated, & decapitated in every way imaginable.

Star Wars: Episode II - Attack of the Clones
(2002)

Best since Empire Strikes Back
Some critics are just too hard on this film. Don't worry about it being a little talky while they set up the character development. The final 45 min are some of the most exciting in recent history. Yoda is the man and the visual effects are oscar worthy.

The Great Outdoors
(1988)

VERY FUNNY
How on earth can anyone not like this movie? I could watch this over and over. Critics and a few other were way too hard on this one. It is hilarious from start to finish. John Candy and Dan Aykroyd should have made more films together.

Shoot to Kill
(1988)

Terrific!
Terrific! One of my absolute favorite films. Good acting, spectacular cinematography, suspenseful soundtrack. I can watch this movie over and over.

Allan Quatermain and the Lost City of Gold
(1986)

Not too bad
Ok, so it isn't "Raiders" but is enjoyable fun if you don't take it too seriously. After all how hard is it to follow King Soloman's Mines.Definitely, worth a cheap rental.
