The Flight of Dragons
(1982)

A great fantasy...
This movie was great. I watched it over and over and over again as a kid, and it basically introduced me to fantasy. The voices are so talented, including the late John Ritter and James Earl Jones. And the story is so creative! A great movie for children and adults alike.

Aqua Teen Hunger Force
(2000)

The funniest cartoon I've ever seen.
A few of my friends were talking about how great this show is on Adult Swim. So, I watched it one night and I have been addicted ever since. This show about 3 detectives foods and their landlord is ingenious. The three get in the most random situations and that is what makes this show so funny. Yet, the situations they run into, although at times majorly overexaggerated, we can all relate to it. My personal favorite is the episode "interfection", in which computer pop-ups take over. They just keep coming, just like real pop-ups. I recommend this show to anyone who wants to laugh hard.

The Wizard
(1989)

LOVED this as a kid
Being 6 when this movie came out, ALREADY obsessed with Nintendo, I wanted to see this movie so bad when it came out. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see it in the theater. But I saw it on video and checked it out like 20 times seriously. Watching it today it seems a little hokey, but still it brings me back to the days when video games were user friendly and fun.

How the West Was Fun
(1994)

Good for kids
I remember when this was on (it's been almost 10 years I can't believe it!) and my sister and I watched this quite often. I thought it was really good. When I look back on it, it wasn't that great of a movie, but kids most definately will enjoy it. It was made for kids.

Trading Spaces
(2000)

I know few people who don't enjoy this show
I read some of the older comments about how this isn't like "Changing Rooms" and it sucks and I'm like "WHAT!?!?!?! This show is AWESOME!!" I guess the show must have improved greatly because now it is a smash hit. I love this show; seeing boring rooms transformed to bright flashy rooms before your eyes. Of course you don't agree with all of their ideas but it all depends on your taste. My mother as a matter of fact took some ideas from Frank's Mexican kitchen (you know, the one with the sarape on the ceiling) and used it in her bathroom she was remodeling. This show is just creative fun!

Ryôri no tetsujin
(1993)

People would ask, "This is a cooking show????"
This is like no other cooking show I have ever seen. What makes this show so unique is that a contestant battles an Iron Chef who specializes in a certain style, and they have a key ingredient. This allows both chefs to display their creativity in cooking. That's why I love it. I think they should make an English version of the show because sometimes the dubbing is a little annoying especially when they are dubbing people talking on screen (not like the commentators). And in the English version they should have big name chefs like Emeril Lagasse and Wolfgang Puck as the Iron Chefs (Emeril would be great because he too is very creative with his dishes). That would be awesome. Or a world wide Iron Chef with chefs from around the world representing their country or continent. In any event this show is unique and different, and anyone who loves competition and hates cooking shows (but loves food) proabably would love this non-traditional show.

Nowhere Man
(1995)

A good show that should not have been cancelled.
I remember on Monday nights, my dad and I would always watch Star Trek Voyager, and when it was over, my mom and sister would come in and our entire family would watch Nowhere Man. This was one of the few shows are entire family watched together all the time. It was such a good show; full of action and suspense, and did not deserve to be cancelled when it did, just when he was beginning to get some answers. Even just one more season would have been good. I'm pretty sure it was cancelled because of lower ratings, but you have to realize that this show was showed during UPN's first season on the air. If it were showed today, now that UPN is pretty much a mainstay and is becoming more popular, it probably would last longer. I say bring this show back; if not new episodes then at least in syndication!

Salute Your Shorts
(1991)

Nick in it's heyday
Ahhh, Salute Your Shorts. The essence of TRUE Nick humor lies in this show, no longer aired on Nickelodeon. I grew up with this show, along with other shows like Hey, Dude, Welcome Freshmen, and You Can't Do That On Television. This was when Nick was about being a kid and enjoying it. And when things were basically about nothing, and nothing is fun! Nowadays Nick is just cartoons; geared toward younger viewers. No live action comedies at all. Just Spongebob (yuck).

This show was about kids at a summer camp and the episodes were so funny! Unforgettable characters like Budnik, Sponge (who was my favorite because he was like me, a scrawny smart nerd-like guy) and Donkey Lips? I laughed my head off at it. It was so unbelieveable yet so believeable. Why doesn't Nick make shows like this anymore? Maybe they should start showing these shows on Nick At Nite or something, since now people who have grown up with these shows are in college or at least high school.

You Can't Do That on Television
(1979)

Why Nick has slime
I'm probably one of the youngest people who remembers this show... This show is why Nickelodeon has a big slime fountain in front of it's studios (what they are used for nowadays, I don't know they don't do any live action shows anymore). I remember when they said "water" water got dumped on them and when they said "I don't know" slime dumped on them. And the slime looked SO MUCH better back then! And the variety of slime was interesting; the characters would say "Oh, we ran out of green slime" so then the slime would be blue.

The sketches were also funny; one of the ones I remember was when this kid was in the doctor's office and he took out his tongue. And who can forget the barfing of the bad burgers in the cafeteria? This show should be aired again... there are no more shows like this airing on Nick, sad to say.

Bruce Lee: A Warrior's Journey
(2000)

AMAZING!!!
This is BY FAR the best Bruce Lee documentary I have ever seen for two reasons: they consentrate on more of his philosophical beliefs rather than his life story, and they show GAME OF DEATH!!! That was the real reason I watched it. They found Bruce Lee's original outline and stunt moves for the film, and also all of the footage cut for the 1979 version. They put it all together now in the order it was supposed to be in and the result is AWESOME!! The nunchakaus scene is sweet! And the fight with Kareem is cool as well. A must-see for any Bruce Lee fan.

Keeping Up Appearances
(1990)

Hilarious!!!!
I watch this program on PBS all the time!! It is so funny!!! Many times it is much funnier than other American sitcoms on the networks. What makes it so funny is Hyacinth's character; she is both believeable and UNbelievable at the same time!! I recommend this show to everyone who wants a laugh!

She Woke Up Pregnant
(1996)

Weird
The only part I really remember were two lines: the husband going "There is no sperm in my semen!" and the dentist licking the woman's forehead saying "Your perfume smells so beautiful". This was a pretty bad movie.

City Lights
(1931)

This was beautiful
Awesome movie. The first silent movie I have watched in whole. I loved it. Beautiful, considering that sound movies were all the rage by then. But, if it was a sound movie I am sure it wouldn't have been as good.

Misery
(1990)

THE BEST MOVIE EVER
I love this movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is my favorite movie. Kathy Bates is awesome as Annie Wilkes, the psychotic nurse who "saves" Paul Sheldon(played brilliantly by James Caan) from dying in a car accident in a blizzard.

Bates deservedly won the oscar for her portrayal of Annie. I love this movie and you have to see it!!!!!
