Epic Movie
(2007)

Date Movie was worse
No it wasn't the best spoof movie, but there have been worse. The best spoof in recent times was Scary Movie and the sequel and Epic Movie is not up to par and I admit that. But it did better than I expected.

It made more sense than Date Movie ever did. Epic Movie at least had a tighter script, stuck more to the type of films it spoofed and I know that isn't saying much. Date Movie went all over the place,it hard to spoof already funny movies. So I gave Epic Movie a 7 out of 10 for the effort.

Kal Penn was great in this and I hope to see more of him in leading roles.

The Things I liked The Harry Potter part was funny I loved the Jack Sparrow parody The Use of the Witch,The Lion and the Wardrobe as the glue for the movie.

I wont mention the bad, I think everyone has covered it.

Rose Hill
(1997)

For the Roses Lite
It's totally bad,but I'm being very fickle in this review. Since I read the novel this is based on so many, many times. The movie lacks the quirky charm of the novel that I love. There are so many changes to the plot that I couldn't get into the movie totally, I mean one of the brothers gets killed? And Adam becomes sick with consuption???! WTH, I'm like that is not how it's supposed to happen and other stuff too numerous to mention. I kept wanting to grab my copy of the book and start reading. I can say I enjoyed Adam he was very in character, how I imagined him from the book, and Jennifer Garner was a nice choice for Mary Rose but she played her as a selfish snot.In short the very beautiful and sweet story of "For the Roses" was chopped up,stripped down and what you have is like many have already said in other reviews a story that only has the names in common with the book. Truly,if you want to really enjoy a story read the book,it has drama, comedy, and a big climax with Adam's trial near the end that will keep you glued.

Days of Our Lives
(1965)

Lucas and Sami Rocks!!!!!!!
I love them, they are the only reason I've watched Days for the last ten years. Now that TPTB are finally hooking them up and letting the chemistry between Ali S and Bryan D heat up the screen, I'm one happy Lumi Lover. The Serial Killer Storyline has interested me as well, and I'm enjoying the powerful performances by Maggie(Suzanne Rogers) and Mickey(John Clarke) just to name a few. I really feel the lost that Mickey is feeling as a man coping with the loss of his love, his soulmate, his wife.Kudos John Clarke. This is a dark story that is going to test the metal of the characters and fans alike.

But the lighter note of this storyline is the blooming romance between Lucas Roberts and Sami Brady. I've wanted them to get together ever since the first day they met. There is a passion and a fire between these two thats been denied for way to long. I can't wait to see what the writers have in store for these two. It will be a wild crazy ride!!!!!!

And I'm going to enjoy every minute of it.

Beyond the City Limits
(2001)

Don't Watch This Movie!!!
I've watched some doozies in my time, but this movie takes the cake!

The acting over all was horrible!(Alison H.was the only bright spot in the film just barely)`

The plot is as thin as toilet paper.

I tried to watch this movie twice: The first time I fell asleep after the first 15 minutes or so I think(my brain was trying to protect me,but did I listen? No) The very next day I tried again and now I'm convinced that I could survive chinese water torture while laying on a bed of nails.

Don't make my mistake. Don't rent this movie. Don't watch this movie!!!!
