I'm only 10 mins in and I just can't watch this. The whole production feels like a mediocre college project. I know they probably had a small budget, but surely it could have been used more effectively. While some of the actors in this have been good in other projects they have worked on I feel like the direction, cinematography, casting and music selection are all poor resulting in a production of Macbeth that leaves us all under a curse.

Silent Witness is without doubt the best thing on TV and I know it's mostly white, middle class themes appeal to people from all walks of life. I really appreciated the way in which It's most recent storylines (Series 24, Redemption, Reputations) both put in key scenes where black men, both hospital workers, were forced to make a run for it from the police. Very original! At the end of this week's most recent offering three of the four characters of ethnic minority were all killed off with the fourth (black gentleman who tried to make a run for it) no doubt facing some sort of penal prosecution. Again, so original. God forbid a person of a minority background should actually join the forensic team for any decent length of time.

I understand an actress of colour will portray a character in upcoming episodes. Let's see how long this one last shall we.
