Any Day Now
(1998)

great show!
I love this show! i watch it every night on lifetime in reruns. great story lines, i love the flashbacks. wonderful tale of friendship between two women. i would love to see this released on dvd with commentary from the creator and stars. the show pushed the envelope in some of the story lines they chose to tell. excellent!

Cupid
(1998)

the most brilliant always get cancelled...
by far one of the best shows on tv. and of course abc cancels after a measly 14 episodes. i miss this show still, and just had to comment on how great i think jeremy piven is. wonderful show, wonderful stories. to short of a run!!!

Two Guys, a Girl and a Pizza Place
(1998)

it only got better with time..
Upon reading the last post put on here totally trashing this very funny show, I had to make a post. Well I'm 23 and my boyfriend is 33 and we both find the show entertaining and funny, so let's not automatically assume that only teenagers like this show, plus that's insulting to teenagers in implying that they are stupid, and anyone over the age of 15 is stupid if they like this show. Ok, may be it's not quite "move over Seinfeld classic", but the cast is talented, and they had some extremely funny episodes. At first, to be perfectly honest I didn't really like this show, but I gave it another chance and ended up totally loving it. And it only got better, as the series went on and more charcters were brought in (ie. Germ, Irene, Johnny), it became funnier. Funnier stories and interesting little episodes, such as the "silent-no dialogue episode", and the episode that was narrated entirely in song, and all of the Halloween ones. I never saw Friends take the risks that this very funny show took.

The Cell
(2000)

visually stunning, very cool film
i found this movie to be intriguing. at first i thought it moved too slowly, but upon watching the dvd at length, i have grown to really appreciate the subtle way Tarsem directs, and adds things to make you really freak out!!

The Simpsons
(1989)

greatest show on tv
hands down the best show on televison. at times over the many seasons it has aired, they may have faltered here and there, but overall, the show is consistently funny, wacky, irreverent and original. matt groening is a genius! not only did we get the simpsons from him, we also got futurama, yet another wacky, wonderful show.

Session 9
(2001)

A truly great haunted house film
A team of hazardous waste specialists take on the job of cleaning out an abandoned asylum. David Caruso makes a great come back in this film, leading a very talented group of actors as the men that have to clean out the building. While the crew is cleaning out the asylum, we get to see some background of the members of the clean-up team. They all are flawed in their own way. But, some are more flawed than others, and that will be shown at the end of the movie. The movie itself is very well directed. The atmosphere is just downright creepy! The voices of former inmates of the asylum add to the horror of what is going on in there. There are so many twists and turns going on in this movie, I was guessing till the end. I wasn't disappointed. A great cast that made a great horror film.

Crank Yankers
(2002)

Hilarious
This show is funnier than you would think it would be. Real phone calls with some well known comedians with real people on the other end of the line. It is one of the funniest shows I have seen in a long time! The puppets they use to animate the callers are hilarious. Comedy Central scores another hit in their line-up of shows. You have to watch it to see just how great it is!
