Jaw-dropping visual masterpiece & Mia Goth of course This movie is a visual *chef's kiss*. It is Sci-fi White Lotus mixed with some Midsommar and a dash of Misery. With that being said, it was a surprising unique film that hasn't really been done before. The cinematography was gorgeous, lush, and exciting. The acting was top tier with Mia & Alexander (someone get Mia Goth an Oscar). During the "trippy" scenes, I definitely was feeling the fantasy with the insane visuals. There are some incredibly disturbing scenes and lots of flashing lights that will not be suitable for everyone. I will say... this probably isn't the movie to take your granny to see but any sci-fi/horror nerd is gonna enjoy this film! As a film lover and enthusiast, this movie has not left my brain.
