A Dark Foe
(2020)

Worst ever made.
Why would Graham Greene put himself in a far fetched outrageously dumb barf bag movie? Not only that, Bill Bellamy can't act either. You're not Axel Foley. Eddie Murphy has that role. The only one you have is Cousin Skeeter. This was the dumbest movie on the level. And I gave it a 1 star. Don't waste your breath or time or energy. You can make a thriller without blood and filth and sex. Or if people insist to waste brain cells on a dumb movie like this, go for it. I will never waste my time again. I know better ones and this one wasn't it. And what does Country Roads have to do with it??? Dumb.

I Am Potential
(2015)

It has potential. No pun intended.
Good solid based fun family movie. Nothing dull or cheesy or boring. Nothing graphic or vulgar or filthy. But an overall good family movie that is based on a true story. You will like it. Hopefully. Burgess Jenkins is a good actor too. From Remember The Titans. So enjoy this movie. I rated this movie 10 out of 10. Other people might rate different. That's okay. Nobody is going to like the same things. That's why variety is the spice of life. Plenty of other good family movies too. I added no spoilers so you can decide for yourselves how you like this movie. Make your own review at IMDB. Thanks.

Undeserved
(2016)

Interesting.
A young adolescent named Dawn whose mother is unexpectedly shot and killed and afterwards is sent to live with her aunt and uncle. And then when her uncle is discovered to be a pervert, she runs off and is caught off guard by a smooth talking pushover who also has a disrespectful demeanor towards women. A pimp basically. The only bright side is Dawn gets rescued and finishes high school. And her aunt Jamie comes around herself. So a pleasant reunion after all that's transpired. I gave Undeserved a 5 out 5 stars. Surprised they never aired this on Lifetime or LMN considering the content and all.

Respect
(2021)

Pretty good.
Respect I don't think lived up to the title. It pretty much showed bits and parts of Aretha's story but not her whole story. The acting was good. The music was good. And you got a sense of how her career took off. The only downside is that they closed it midway through. And people who want to know what happened to Aretha as she got older. The ending provides details but that's about it. Otherwise it can be worth your time to check it out or not. And Forrest Whitiker was good too. I gave Respect a 7 out of 7. Not as good as Ray but not too shabby either. Watch Muscle Shoals for the real story..

Ruling of the Heart
(2018)

It checks out.
A judge finds himself on the wrong end of the gavel, no pun intended. And when a winter blizzard leaves him stranded in a diner, he has a hard time coming to terms with the other patrons who he judged in court, and they feel that they didn't receive a fair trial. What comes next is a series of flashbacks that sort of show how this judge lost his one source of happiness in his life. And the owner of the diner plays like a peacemaker with his own personal trials. A story of redemption and forgiveness. I give it a 7 out of 7. No graphic violence or profanity. But it's pretty decent overall itself.

Clancy Once Again
(2017)

Not so good as the first one but it checks out.
This is an updated version from the events of the first Clancy to a more different dialogue with all the characters having moved on in a way. Nick Best plays a father figure to the now teenager Clancy. And the officer who is Nick's best friend is like a detective now who goes missing on a anonymous caller's tip. So basically it goes back and forth between Clancy and Nick and finding the missing detective. Otherwise it doesn't gel that much from the first Clancy movie. Although both of the movies have pretty good storylines and no nudity or profanity. I give Clancy once again a 5 out 5 stars...

The Senior Prank
(2014)

Overall good film.
A young girl who is quite rambunctious moves to a new town and finds herself in a different pool of fishes and sharks, sotospeak. Plus her friendship with a special needs kid plays well over the course of the movie. Ben Davies is a good actor. The rest is a pretty good cast of characters. No nudity or profanity. But it does touch basis on mercy and forgiveness. So that will definitely make you think on how we perceive people because you never know what someone else is going through. I gave this movie a 5 out 5 stars. You can watch the movie and make your own assessments. Won't be disappointed.

I Can I Will I Did
(2017)

An okay movie.
I watched this on Tubi for the first time. And I thought it wasn't bad really. You have a young man who finds himself with a chip on his shoulder and he meets a girl who is trying to make the most despite her shortcomings. So they both play a part in this movie, no pun intended. Nothing really bad except one use of God's name in vain. You really didn't need that but overall it's pretty okay. I think so. You can make what you will from it. And maybe watch it again down the road or not depending. And again you could've had a good film without using that one slur. Otherwise it's interesting such.

The Path of the Wind
(2009)

Pretty good. Not bad.
Lee Ferguson is an ex con who starts over again when he finds himself a job working at a grocery store. And he lives in his grandfather's house. The only downside to this movie is when Lee and Katie have a night of romance together, and while it's not your typical R rated love scene, it does break the bonds morally on the importance of no sex before marriage. A lesson learned after the fact that plays well towards the end which leaves its viewers surprised at what transpires. I gave this movie a 6 out 6 stars. No harsh language or nudity. And with one love scene you get the picture already so.

Until Forever
(2016)

Great movie.
Based on a true story. A young man who is a karate teacher and he falls in love with this girl and what follows is a whirlwind of emotions. And you can relate with his motivation to keep going when it feels like it's too much to bear. A David and Goliath story of sorts. Because you never know when your whole world can change in a instant, to which the meaning of living your life to the fullest makes the most sense. 10 out of 10. You can make your own choice to watch it. I would recommend it. My kind of movie without the garbage of sex or profanity. No using God's name in vain. Thank goodness..

My First Miracle
(2015)

Awesome movie.
My first Miracle. I love this movie. A cancer stricken girl who needs a transplant and throughout she meets other individuals. What resonates is her way of navigating the rough shores of her personal battles. And her mom and dad who themselves are trying to make ends meet despite their own daughter's predicament. All in all it's a well made movie and worth watching with the family. No nudity. No swearing. But it keeps you going all the way to the end. And Quinton Aaron from the Blind Side is in the movie too. I gave this movie a 10 out of 10. These are the type of movies that are worth seeing.

Play the Flute
(2019)

Pretty good.
So play the flute is about a new youth group teacher named Brandon Cobb who tries to bring the message of the Gospel to an otherwise indifferent group of teenagers. Each of them has their own story within the movie so you kinda get where they're coming from. The only downside is when Shannon gets excluded from the church or leaves out on her own accord. The Bible talks about being kind to your enemies. She would count too. Maybe she has a different upbringing or something deeper than that. We'll never know for sure. I gave this movie a 7 out of 10. No cussing or sex either. Well worth to watch.

Dashcam
(2021)

This movie is a waste of oxygen and critical thinking.
I'd rather watch Arachnophobia. At least I could manage spider guts than this trash filled flop fest of horrible acting and zero substance or storyline. It was dumb beyond expectations. The found footage genre died a long long time ago. B list movies were better even from decades ago. They don't make anything worthwhile these days.

Martha Marcy May Marlene
(2011)

Beyond Boring.
Don't hold your breath. Very dumb remake of like helter skelter meets whatever happened to baby Jane on steroids. The only good part was knowing when it was over. I wouldn't waste anytime on this.

Obsessed with the Babysitter
(2021)

Dumb movie.
Dumb Dumb Dumb. Like a promo for the masked singer meets So you think you can dance. Nobody in their right mind would want to watch this. Don't waste your time.

Clancy
(2009)

Full 10 out of 10.
Clancy is a good overall movie. Great story and plot and a different conclusion but doesn't disappoint from the central theme. If you're looking for a wholesome clean family drama. You will enjoy this.

The Short History of the Long Road
(2019)

Good independent flick
No spoilers. Sabrina does exceptionally well playing a young lady trying to find her way in the world after her dad dies and she's without her mom. I was impressed with the whole movie.
