Night Hunter
(2018)

Sloppy cliche craftmanship and waste of good actors
Saw this on Netflix and got interested. Mainly because of the great ensemble of actors, not only in leading parts but also great supporting roles. Casting was the only thing going for this film! There was bad directing, editing and poor scriptwriting, all resulting in a messy, incoherent story.

Saw this film with my wife, and several times we got confused because this film simply put too many layers of "Seven/Silence of the Lambs"-cliches/plottwists in the story.

With little time to develop characters and a confusing plot, it all resulted in my wife and I left the movie after 55 minutes (very seldom I don't see a film through).

Really wanted this to be good, but sadly it isn't....dont waste your time.

Amateur movie crammed with clichees
WOW what a bad movie! We had only seen a few minutes, when the acting (or lack of) began to stand out like a sour thumb.

Apparently the lead character (Julie Ølgaard) act, direct , produce and write this film. I think she most definitely should have given some of those tasks to other, more competent people.

The acting is beyond poor, even with a cast where i KNOW that several of the actors are seasoned, and normally good actors, that fail miserably in this story.

All the plotpoints are clichees, that we have seen in countless other (and quite better films).

There are no suspense and as a viewer you dont relate to any of the characters. I would higly recommend you skip this film as i frankly think it is a waste of time.

Blood
(2022)

Solid film, but more drama than horror
Actually a good little film, but i think you will disappointed if you expect a more classical horrorfilm.

This more of a drama with the classical premise: How much will you do as a parent for your children?

I enjoyed it and there was great performance from teh entire cast, especially Michelle Monaghan and the 2 kids.

Its a slow burner withour scarejumps and the usual tools of the trade for horrorflicks, so dont expect any of that or you will be sorely disappointed.

The writing, dialogue and actions of the characters are also believable most of the time and when they appear less rationel, its back to the "what wouldnt you do for your kid"-dilemma so thats covered i guess.

House of the Dragon
(2022)

Solid start for a promising story!
After the catastrophic ending of GOT i have been holding my breath for this one, but i think they have done a good job! The story unfolds naturally and we are introduced to the different houses, characters and lurking problems/conflicts above and below the surface.

Good acting from the crew. Nice editing af directing. All in all a very good start to a series i am looking forward to !
