I think this game is the perfect Saints Row game. It balances the goofyness of 4 with the more grounded gang related story of 1 and 2. It's still pretty insane especially everything with STAG and Killbane but it doesn't take itself seriously which allows it to do a lot of weird things like riding a chariot pulled by Zimos while being chased by rival gang members riding chariots being pulled my gimps. Overall it's very fun and I recommend batting the remastered versions.

It's crazy man, really fun though. At first it looks like a game from 2002 but it gets better. Overall it's fun but it's not that good. The final boss fight is also pretty easy. The first time I beat it the game glitched and Zinyak didn't move but the second time I played it was still pretty easy. If you're going to get a DLC get Escape the Dominatrix or The Saints Save Christmas. They are the most fun out of the three especially on harder difficulties.

This is one of the best first person shooters ever made, in my opinion. The graphics hold up today, the gameplay is enthralling, and the story is almost perfect. The controls also feel very good on the PS3 controller and even with the different controls from modern COD games it feels natural. During the game you play as 4 characters and when you switch between them it doesn't feel jarring or disorienting and the game gets you invested in all the different storylines. The multiplayer was also very good but now the servers aren't as active but that is expected because the game came out in 2009. Overall I recommend this game heavily to anyone with a PS3 or anyone with a newer gen console to get the remastered version.
