So I was looking up a movie similar to The Number 23 (which I recommend watching). I saw the description of it and the rating was good so I thought I would give it a try. It is so dull. The pacing is slow from the beginning to end and it's confusing. It reminded me a lot of the movie Vivarium if anyone has seen that. It's just slow and dull. And there were some unnecessary scenes. You don't see it,but it's obvious the main character is touching himself in bed. Also later in the movie he makes a Ted Bundy r@pe comment. It made me uncomfortable especially since it was towards a female. I just feel like the script makes little to no sense and it comes off as sloppy.

This movie was a snooze fest. There wasn't one good quality that made it stand out. Honestly it surprises me that it's a Blumhouse movie.

Now onto the spoiler part. My god some of the characters get so annoying after awhile. One has an annoying catch phrase of saying "piss off". There's also a female character who I just find to be a total train wreck. She cheats on her boyfriend,yet she gets upset when her best friend is dared to hook up with him. I just don't feel like the plot made much sense,it was very weak and it could've been better. It makes zero sense to be possessed during your trip in Mexico while your playing truth or dare and it follows you back. I know horror movies don't make sense at times,but this one is just something else. Like why do the characters smile like they're meant to be in the movie Smile (even though this came out first)? This movie is a waste of time,I'd say skip it or use it for background noise. That's all it would be good for.

I was extremely excited when I heard about this movie online. But it just falls really REALLY flat. So spoilers ahead for those that still wanna watch. Girl poisons herself (calling it a fake overdose) to get into the morgue to get her brother's cell phone. Then crap hits the fan. The creepy coroner finds out she's there and starts to hunt her down. I just find the movie to be a waste of time and there to be plot holes. There's a scene where she does shoot him in the eye and he's bleeding,it looks like a bb pellet came out of the gun. Then the scene after it his eye is fine and not bloody at all. It's weird,I had to rewind it to make sure I saw it correctly. It just feels sloppy and rushed. If you're into gore just for the hell of it then yeah,this is your movie I guess. Warning about the end,the dog is seen eating a corpse.
