August Creek
(2017)

Great acting and an interesting storyline
I don't want to give any spoilers so please just watch it. I think this was beautifully written and acted. Ryan as Nate was incredible. Erica was good. Very well cast. The story is not your typical Hallmaek type romance story. It has a bit of a change in it and I love it. My third time watching it and Ryan needs to be in more romantic movies. He was brilliant. No I am not his mom or friend. I just thought he was great. The actress was also. The sister and her fiancée were an added bonus to this. Put these two together again or a sequel. I loved the military was mentioned. So few movies talk about veterans and military life. Kudos.

Home for a Royal Heart
(2022)

Brittany was brilliant. Frank was hilarious
Brittany did a marvelous job here as the sweet hometown girl who knows everyone evident by her greeting them. It was a way to show Shaw Bay was small and quaint. Dean played a good part but I think the sweetness of Brittany carried the show. Kudos to aunt Bess and dear Frank. Brilliant on both parts. Way to go on this movie. The scenery is lovely. Brittany is so good as a leading lady and it has been to long of a wait to finally see her as one. She was splendid. The royal storyline is always a bit much but I liked this one a great deal and felt it was handled well. Just get me to talk about authentic uniforms. Drives me crazy the costumers can not get this.

Six Degrees of Santa
(2022)

Steve Lund was Brilliant
Steve Lund made this movie. I lost interest real fast with the female lead. I continued watching because I liked Steve Lund's character and wanted to watch it develop. The over excessive makeup on the actress was real distracting on from the fake eyelashes to the eye shadow. She also really overacted. The daughter was cute and a sweet little actress. I would have turned it off had Steve Lund not had such a neat part. I have never been much of a fan of him but this was awesome. Kudos to Steve for making this movie. This was a good lifetime movie overall. I give it more stars because of Steve only.

One Six Right
(2005)

Brian Terwilliger Gets It Right
After 25 years of marriage and complaining why my husband had to go to the hanger and see his "Cub" all the time, one man made me understand my husband. That man is Brian J. Terwilliger. After driving our motor home to the Annual West Coast Piper Cub Fly in (yep family vacation involving the Cub) I saw bits of the movie and my 19 year son ordered it on our return. I have to say I was so touched by the essence of how Brian captured flying. It is amazing that a young man, age 32, on his first film could teach me a lesson on the "love of aviation" to the lay person. This is not a story about an airport as I thought, it is a love story about humans and science. When my five year old son has seen the movie six times this week, I finally sat down with the family and have now seen One Six Right and the companion disc, oh and the soundtrack is now in my car. Thank you Brian for showing those that "tolerate" flying by a spouse, that it is a love affair that they don't have to be jealous of. I might even take flying lessons after 25 years of marriage because of you. Our Piper L4J Cub has been in the family since 1976 and is now a welcome member because of this film.

Thanks Brian and everyone involved in this movie.
