This is realistic manifestation of the saga called politics and the related affairs.

Plot- The plot of Abar Rajneeti is straightforward one which encompasses political dynasty, family politics, political intrigues in a family and the associates. The story starts with the preparation of by-election in a politically turbulent place of West Bengal. This manifests the prevalent political culture of West Bengal. Politics particularly the electoral politics is a different ballgame in the context of West Bengal. The pulls and pressure that steward the discourses in electoral politics in West Bengal have been delineated with perfection in Web Series Abar Rajneeti 2024 Action- The action of the Web Series is straightforward with a constant element of suspense. There are other dimensions in Web Series. But all are connected with the central theme politics of power and the struggle to convert the same into politics for and of the masses. Exploring thrill and romance may seem contradictory but this is one of the popular themes in Films for decades. The Web Series; the new incarnation of celluloid portrayal of drama and emotions has enhanced the cocktail of the theme with larger appeal and success. No doubt, balancing both the themes is never easy. Naturally, those who successfully venture the theme deserve credit.

Paashbalish- The Outline The story is about the twin brothers Babla alias Chadu and Tubla alias Shibthakur. This narrates the saga of crime, drugs and women trafficking in a village located across the India-Bangladesh border in South Bengal. The outline also narrates romance and sectarian intolerance in a befitting manner. The outline also narrates the events in the backlash.

Paashbalish- The Plot: The Plot of the Web Series is multi-dimensional. This includes the crimes exist in the border regions of the two countries; India and Bangladesh like Drugs trafficking and crimes related to women. The plot is also about the sectarian exploitation of the Paharbangshi community by the elite section and the conflict that evolves in the form of revenge. The dimension of murders and police investigations also goes on. The element of romance and its trans-border connection makes the Web Series more enjoyable.

Significant point is: the Web Series makes all the diverse aspects well connected and present these in a coherent form. The Film primarily deals with crime investigation but at the end the aspect of romance appears more predominantly.

Paashbalish-Language The usage of language is very categorical in the Web Series. Apart from the Language of Bengali elite class, some characters speak Bengali dialect of Bangladesh as well as local language of Southern Districts of West Bengal. This makes the Web Series more realistic.

Paashbalish- Caste All the actors and actresses have performed brilliantly in the Web Series.

Suhotra Mukhopadhay has made stunning performance in the lead role of the Web Series.

Shankar Debnath has once again proved his caliber in negative role Sourav Das proves why he is a potential actor with great future ahead.

Dark 7 White: Not Impressive The crime thriller and the cocktail of crime and politics are always attractive themes for a successful Film. There may be different dimensions in such a Film and justly so. But narrating a crime and unfolding facts deserve skill to keep the audience hooked up. The element Suspense needs to keep intact although the film that makes such Film worthy to watch. The various dimensions of such films should ensure keeping the narrative moving and maintain the element of suspense with a straightforward action. Unfortunately, the Web Series Dark 7 White utterly lacks these.

Plot:

The Film narrates the story of an Individual becoming leader from Students' politics and the investigation of the Murder of the same Person just on the eve of taking the Oath of Office as the New Chief Minister perhaps of Rajasthan as the story underlines political affairs related to Rajasthan. The Film narrates in Parallel the ongoing Investigation of the Murder and Evolving politics to take guard as the New CM on the one hand. On the other, the film tries to explore and define the present context of murder and conspiracy as per things happened during the Students' politics of a College/University.

However, the most part of the Film certainly the Monologue that tries to connect the present with the past does not seem impressive. Significantly, Sumeet Vyas who plays the lead role of Yudhbir Singh is entitled to do this job. Nevertheless, it never sounds convincing. Someone who dies at the initiation of the Film keeps on narrating the whole story does not logical in the context of a crime thriller related to politics for obvious reason.

Students' Politics VS Mass Politics

Can both the formats of politics be judged from the same parameter? What about the traditional politicians in the context of Rajasthan politics? What about Satraps and Bahubalies in a political discourse related to any part of India? What about the pressure-groups? All these are valid questions related to the film considering the reality of politics compiling interests of different stakeholders.

Scenes and Sequences: These are too many scattered that do not help in taking forward the action. Rather they create monotony. At times, the Erotic Elements look unnecessary and mere repetitions. Thus, it lacks a judicious approach that needs to make such scenes relevant and convincing.

Language-

The language is broken. Excessive use of English by all the characters rather proves that the Film does not have a far-fetched connection with the political discourses that need to address issues of the rank and file. Even during the press conference made by the daughter of the Ex CM, prominence English over Hindi seems evident. So also, there seem ample uses abusive terms without any cause. This could have been minimized. After all, if all the characters speak same way, it becomes harder to build characters in a convincing manner.

Perfect Intro Song in Imperfect Narrative: The song used as the Intro is of Rajasthani folk genre. But does it match the circumstance or the psychology of the characters painted in the Film? This question definitely remains.

Cast and Characterization: The cast of the Film is not impressive. Performance of Sumeet Vyas is disappointing. Jatin Sarna also does not seem in the rhythm. However Kunj Anand and Rachit Bahal have performed relatively better

Final Remarks- Dark 7 White fails fulfill what the audience wants from a crime thriller. This Web Series is Not Impressive.

Jehanabad- Of Love and War: Superb Creation

Bihar has been presented as the epicentre of criminal activities in different Films. Bollywood has produced so many films and Web Series based on the same theme. This is undoubtedly one of the cherished themes of Hindi Film Industry and the Audience. The same has been executed in the last few years which have attained wide-acclaim. Bihar went through several turbulent phases. One of the reasons is definitely the caste-based demography of the State that has kept on shaping political discourses of Bihar. The economic inequality, exploitation and poverty prevalent in the State resulted in gun-culture and ceaseless violence to register and protect rights. The situation obviously became more complicated as against the Ranbir Sena of the Bahubali political leaders, the exploited lower castes decide to take arms to safeguard their rights. This provides a fertile ground for the Left-winged extremists thriving strong roots in Bihar and newly formed State Jharkhand bifurcating erstwhile Bihar. The conflict becomes imminent and unavoidable. Jehanabad- Of Love and War narrates this story compiling both fact and fiction related to Jehanabad.

The Plot- Jehanabad- Of Love and War is a Web Series compiles all aspects of Cinematic Creativity. The most important aspect is the Web Sesries makes proper balance between two opposite, contradictory but evenly attached dimensions of the narratives called Love and War. The Plot is based on the trouble-torn past on the conspiracy of the Naxalite leaders for one of its leading leaders from the prison of Jehanabad. The typical political activity of Bihar goes on along with this conspiracy. But the Film depicts a love story which provides a different dimension to the story. All aspects of the film are coherent and connected in unique manner. The plot explores different aspects relevant in individual and national lives in the context of Bihar. The plot successfully explores issues, prejudices, emotions and sensibility of the individuals and the society in a convincing manner. The most important aspect of the Web Series is: it explores Love, Concord, other human appeals and sentiments amidst politics, Left-winged extremism, hatred, conspiracy, corruptions and other menaces plaguing the society and the nation. Exploring affection in the battleground is no doubt an established theme in the realm of creativity. But this Web Series definitely adds something in the tricky track of Bihar politics where caste and sectarian affiliations create political equations. The menace of Left-winged Extremism has become a new concern in the discourses of politics and provocation of a section of self-acclaimed messiah instigates the youngsters to commit crime in the name of social-reform. The story ends with a great anti-climax as the girl discovers her lover and teacher involved in fierce gun battle as a Naxalite against police and other security personnel on their marriage day.

Cast and Characterization: The Cast and Characterization of the Film is simply perfect Ritwik Bhowmik, Harshita Gaur, Rajat Kapoor, Parambrata Chatterjee, Rajesh Jais and all others have performed just superb.

Final Remarks- The Web Series is great manifestation of the Reality Mingled with Emotions and Sensibility with a Larger Message. Jehanabad- Of Love is undoubtedly a Superb Creation considering Every Aspect.

The Crime Thriller is a loved theme worldwide. In India, the Underworld Criminal activities, particularly of Mumbai, have been a popular theme of Bollywood Cinema for decades. A lot of Hindi films have been made so far exploring the dark side of the financial capital of India, Mumbai. Traditionally, the cocktail of crime and concord has been unleashed in such Movies. The 1990s witnessed a sharp increase of underworld activities as organised crime in Mumbai. There are some notorious names associated with the saga of the dark side of Mumbai. The rivalry among different underworld groups and occasional conflicts proved to be a tough challenge for the security agencies and the administrations in the context of Mumbai. With the passing time, things have changed and Indian security agencies succeeded in eliminating the menace and the crime related to underworld activities declined substantially. However, complete elimination of crime in such a big city with so many stakeholders trying to manipulate own agenda is never easy. So the dark side of Mumbai is yet to be lightened completely and that is what makes the Hindi movies based on Mumbai underworld crime relevant in this era as well. Aazam Movie 2023 is a new addition in this context but with a lot of uniqueness.

Plot- The plot of the Movie Aazam is well-knitted one. This explores the story that happens one night with some narrative of the past presented in the form of flashbacks. The story is all about Javed enacted by famous actor Jimmy Shergill to become the next Don of Mumbai after Nawab played by veteran Raja Murad. Javed repeats what happened 36 years back during the coronation of Nawab. Javed executes a full-proof plan to eliminate his competitors who are in the fray to replace Nawab. The film also exposes the unholy nexus comprising underworld Don, police officials and politicians. Unlike earlier films made on the same theme, Aazam does not portray any parallel romantic theme. However, the indirect mention of troubled past Javed tries to give the film a humanistic dimension. Nevertheless, end of the film without a slightest hurdle or harm to the existing evil seems the film deliberately overlooking this important aspect. The Film ends leaving a lot to ponder about.

Sequences: All the Sequences in the Film are coherent and connected to the central theme as if the Film follows the doctrine of Ben Johnson's Humour.

Cast and Characterization Jimmy Shergill is excellent throughout the Film in the Lead role.

Raja Murad: the veteran actor proves his calibre once again Govind Namdev is unique as usual.

Indraneil Sengupta does not look that impressive despite getting the opportunity to perform in larger canvass Ali Khan, Mushtaq Khan and Abhimanyu Singh do not seem in rhythm. The actors performed in relatively less important roles.

However, the overall casting and Characterization of the film is brilliant one.

Final Remarks- Aazam 2023 Movie is an excellent work of art with perfect execution. The film opens a new vista of Hindi crime thriller movie. Really, Aazam 2023 is Excellent and Must Watch One.

Rajneeti: Balakot and Beyond is an excellent Web Series that delineates new age war, strategy and diplomacy in a convincing manner. The Web Series narrate the decades-old conflict between India and Pakistan with a new approach including the incidents like Pulwama terror attack and the follow up military and strategic missions. The new age military doctrine is mainly about psychological game that gets exposure through media and the social media. No doubt, quite a number of films have been made covering the same theme. But the Rajneeti: Balakot and Beyond is unique one.

Plot- The plot of the Web Series deals with the incidents that took place on the backdrop of Pulwama terror attack between India and Pakistan. The theme is straight-forward that highlights both military and diplomatic initiatives taken by both India and Pakistan. The bravery of Abhimanyu; the Indian air-martial in a realistic manner is manifested realistically. The series cover diverse incidents happened in India and Pakistan both on the administrative and military levels as well as base camps of the terror outfit located across Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK). The Web Series prove how the modern day war technique has changed. The strategy and counter-strategy of the military and intelligence departments of both the countries have been depicted in detail. Another important dimension of the Web Series is definitely global political and strategic trends. The Web Series includes roles played by the important stakeholders of global politics. Thus the narrative has been tried to create and recreate keeping into perspective all the important aspects which are behind power and power balance in entire South East Asia and beyond.

Action Sequences - The most interesting part of the film is its Action Sequences. The film has ensured Action Sequences looking realistic which is one of the essential aspects to make such film successful.

Cinematography is excellent depicting action sequence particularly the combat between the air forces of India and Pakistan

Ashutosh Rana proves his genius yet again Ashish Vidyarthi is also in the rhythm throughout.

Excellent performance by Lara Dutta, Elnaaz Norouzi, Prasanna, Suneel Sinha, Sikandar Kharbanda, Aakanksha Singh and all others.

This is an excellent work of art with perfect execution. The Web Series is A Must Watch One.

During the last few years Bollywood experimented with the theme related to the Lives, Struggles, Dedication and Supreme Sacrifices of those who work for the Intelligence Department of India. The films of such category may be seen as Tributes to those brave people and the Department that make us proud through their endeavours for the nation., Ruslaan 2024 is a new addition in this category. But about this particular film?

Plot- The Plot is simple. The film tries to depict the desperate effort of an individual to prove his loyalty to India rising above religious affiliation.

Narrative- The way the film has been narrated is boring. The film has drastically failed to take forward the action considering the interests of the viewers. So also, as a film lacks something essential related to military adventure.

Action Sequences - The most boring part of the film is its Action Sequences. The scenes are lengthy and repetition. So also, the film has failed in making Action Sequences realistic which is one of the essential aspects to make such film successful. The film depends more on melodrama.

Co-ordination: The most challenging aspect of such film is successful and effective co-ordination of different dimensions of a film. The Film has some aspects like Romance, Friendship, Paternal love, individual apathy and other aspects. However, the problem is: these are not properly connected to the pivotal theme.

Ending: The film keeps a surprising element at the end. The role-model of the young man Ruslaan discovers his foster father Jagapathi Babu as the traitor. But throughout the film there is no indication of this so that interests of the viewers remain intact to watch that surprising element as the film lacks the most important element; suspense. As audience is not prepared for such ending, this significant aspect of the film has failed to impact as per expectation.

Cast Aayush Sharma, Sushrii Mishraa, Vidya Malvade do not seem impressive. However, Jagapathi Babu proves his genius.

Final Remarks- The Realistic Purview of Ruslaan Movie 2024: it is Old Wine in a New Bottle.

Adv. Achinta Aich (2024): the new Bengali so-called Courtroom Drama does not seem to be that much impressive. The story line is no doubt good. But the biting reality is unlike the famous courtroom dramas of Bollywood, the Bengali legal drama has never been that much successful. This one is no exception. The movie seems to follow the pattern of the Hindi courtroom dramas particularly the "Criminal Justice" Web Series starring Pankaj Trpathi and Manoj Bajpayee starrer" Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai" to a significant extent. However, unlike "Criminal Justice" or" Sirf Ek Banda Kaafi Hai" Web Series, Adv. Achinta Aich (2024) has drastically failed to impact that much which becomes evident after watching this Web Series Plot- The Plot of the Movie better falls in the category of Crime Thriller and Police Investigation more than a Courtroom Drama. The Movie begins with a boring scene of debate over ownership of a goat which is utterly objectionable. This is humiliating to the dignity of the Indian legal system. No doubt, the logic behind such objectionable content is to depict that Achinta Aich is not a competent lawyer. But this could have been depicted in a different manner. Does a movie maker have right to defame Indian judiciary for the sake of narrative of film? Is this a sensible approach? The writer framing a theme and presenting the entire affair of the Movie as a legal battle between two criminal lawyers needs to maintain the minimum dignity of the judicial process.

The movie revolves round convicting a murder case. A person dies as the Movie begins. The initial investigation and statements of the eye witness confirm the perpetrator just after the murder. The narrative goes on as the endeavours keep going by the lawyers to prove the guilty and the innocent. Rather the movie is mainly about the initiatives of the Defence lawyer to prove that the widow of the deceased person is innocent against the whim that she has been already identified criminal by the family members of the deceased and the police. But ultimately advocate representing the Defence prove the innocent and the judgment comes in her favour. The movie ends with the court judgment against the real culprits and an order to reopen another murder case happened 27 years ago. Although, there are certain twists in the course of the Movie, but its ending is quite stereotypical. However, the finishing of the court proceeding is dull and mere repetition

Characterization -

Saswata Chatterjee's performance looks monotonous here. It seems that the famous actor has become a type character. The shade of the role of Police Officer is obvious in the role of lawyer which is never expected from an actor of his status. The Web Series and the role played by Saswata prove that he is yet to attain versatility to perform in different types of roles.

Ritwick Chakraborty- The actor has performed really well in this Web Series. But his acting seems to be impacted by his Detective thriller "Gora". Ritwick has failed to break his Gora image.

Surangana Bandyopadhyay: The actress has done well in the role of the widow portrayed as the murderer of her husband. The simplicity that the character needs to do justice with the role is there. But the Web Series show that she is yet to evolve to perform in challenging characters with multi-dimensional potentiality.

Other Characters are not highlighted with that much importance. Similarly, there are some unnecessary characters in the Movie.

Remarks- You may watch this. But there is doubt whether you like it. The Movie is stereotypical considering different dimensions.

Kaam Chalu Hai is a great creation that delineates the struggle, hope, expectation, despair, agony and above all tragedy of a common man realistically and artistically. The film surpasses the debate about whether the theme is based on a real incident or not. This can be a story for everyone.

Plot-The film can be divided into Three parts.

1st Part- The film follows a straight lineup for the first 34 minutes, and this duration depicts the hope, aspiration and expectation of a middle-class Indian family who dares to dream amidst struggle and hardship. The film's duration is dedicated to the sweet relationship between father and daughter. The film revolves around the hope of a little girl to become a successful cricketer in life. The other dimensions of the film are the sequences, songs, practice sessions, classroom teaching, and the household affairs of Manoj Patil narrates the story, and the action revolves around the household affairs of a family. Nevertheless, this segment of the film does not seem dull or monotonous because of the stunning performance of Rajpal Yadav and Kurangi Nagraj, who have played the role of Rajpal's daughter.

2nd part The film suddenly shifts dramatically as Manoj Patil's scooter encounters a fatal accident. The agony and desperation of a loving father lifting his wounded daughter on the street to reach the hospital for the treatment of his most loved one in the world.

3rd Part Uneven Fight Against the System: Duration 56th minute to Not Murder but touch of Affection Wins One Man Army to Heal the Wound Larger Message- Humanity and Values Win

Characterisation Rajpal Yadav, as Manoj Patil, has made another stunning all-around performance for this exceptionally talented actor. The whole action revolves around Rajpal Yadav, who has done justice in depicting all emotions through his unparalleled performance.

Kurangi Nagra- A potential actress with all probabilities to emerge on the larger canvas.

Giaa Manek has realistically portrayed the role of an ideal Housewife, a mother and wife.

Remarks- This is a must watch film and yet another great performance of Rajpal Yadav. Do watch.

I recently watched this unique movie, which is a trendsetter in the history of Bollywood movies. The Movie hooks the attention from the beginning and, as the action progresses, underlines various dimensions of life both as a prisoner in the vast world and in the so-called Prisons where one is sent after trial. The story-line and the narrative are excellent in every aspect. The assessment of ethical and unethical is beyond the ordinary logical purview. The Film proves why a Book should not be judged by its cover. It also realistically proves what Shakespeare said: "There are more things in heaven and earth that are measured by our daily philosophy. The gasping agony of a father has been depicted with perfection. The film also proves what divine blessings actually mean for an unfortunate one who is the victim of circumstance. Prison life has been painted as a miniature world where, along with negatives, lots of positives exist. This approach is realistic, and there is no doubt about it.

All the scenes of the movie bear special importance. But the unforgettable one is when Nadir Saab (Mukesh Tiwari) offers Sagar Hussain (Rajpal Yadav) a cup of tea. After a long phase of humiliation, Sagar Hussain bursts into tears and ceaselessly weeping after the magical touch of affection and humanity. Rajpal Yadav proves his genius as an actor. This scene keeps haunting every sensible individual.

The film has both veteran and new actors. The casting is brilliant. Apart from the stalwarts like Kader Khan and Prem Chopra, the new age actors have performed excellently. But this Movie is exceptional for Rajpal Yadav. Yadav proves that he is an actor of all weather and versatility. The film shows how humanity keeps on sailing amidst high tides of odds. The film is definitely a milestone in modern Bollywood movies and is Excellent to watch. I am out of words. The Film has made me a fan of Rajpal Yadav; great performance is a must-watch film.

I watched the Movie "Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout(2024)" last night; 16th of April, 2024. It was utterly dejecting watching the Movie. The plot, the storyline, the thematic presentation and the cinematic orchestration with skill, commitment and endeavour seemed missing utterly in the entire Movie. Rather, this Movie seemed a boring repetition of the same theme; the so-called genre of Crime-Thriller experimented in several Indian movies in the recent past. However, nothing substantive or unique seemed to exist in the whole movie as far as expectation from the so-called cat and mouse race is concerned in such movies. The duel between the police and the criminal is also inconclusive. As the point 'Art for Art's Sake' is a nonentity here, such movies should ensure at least two important aspects. One is definitely the larger message for the society. Another one is an innovative approach to presenting Evil. The Movie has miserably failed in all these aspects. In fact, watching the Movie could not identify whether the narrative has a head or tail at all. So also, the rampant use of abusive terms proves why dialogues have failed to establish distinctive identity of the characters. Similarly, the cocktail of English-Indian language has become the order of the Indian Movies these days as if such broken language can only ensure modernity of Indian cinema. In this movie, perhaps every third sentence is in broken English.

The Movie from the day one of its publicity depended on the stardom of Manoj Bajpayee. But the Movie proves why it is harder to sustain stardom than achieving it. The role played by Bajpayee is also very dull. In fact, Bajpayee's role too looked stereotypical as if the famous actor is not in perfect rhythm. This becomes evident if the present Movie is compared with Silence-1. The filmmaker should ponder that the mere stardom of anyone does not ensure the success of a Movie. It requires the attributes to satisfy the aesthetic pleasure. Only this can have a lasting impact of a work of Art. Anyway, it was waste of time watching the Movie. It is really Much Ado About Nothing.

I was waiting for this movie for a long time. But Watching it was a dejecting feeling. The presence of the writer Swapankumar, enacted by Paran Banerjee, has made it more monotonous. Banerjee's monologue is too dull. The occasional reference and deliberate comparison of Dipak Chatterjee with the immortal character, particularly Feluda, is utterly unacceptable. The theme and content do not have a head or tail. No doubt, the detective stories of Swapankumar are entertaining. But the perspective of this generation is different. The film has done more injustice to Swapankumar. The initiation of Swapankumar detective stories is a super flop. It is utterly worthless content.

The movie Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is an effort of celluloid portrayal of the struggle of an individual for justice. This deals with a very delicate theme of sexual crime against women in India. However, as a courtroom drama, there is exaggeration and confusing information regarding judicial procedure in India. In this context, the theme is rather stereotypical as far as the saga for Bollywood Courtroom dramas are concerned. Questions may be asked from different aspects of legal procedure as produced in this film.

However, keeping aside the melodramatic legal proceedings, the theme tries to project the entire issue as a menace of the society in a rather convincing way. The theme is no doubt thought-provoking which highlights how a victim and honest law-practitioner; both are victims of the criminal justice system.

The concluding remark of Manoj Bajpayee in the role of PC Solanki and his reference to the Ramayana has no connection with reality. Duration and the context of argument defining the concept of sin as per Hindu mythology may be good rhetoric . But the story-teller seems to be ignoring different ramifications of the Great Epic the Ramayana. However, the effort of generalization and expression of personal grievance uttering the lines like "Ye Ravan Hai"(This is Ravana), "Isne Mere Aur Hum Sabke Mahadev Ke Saath Biswasghat Kiya Hai." ( "He has betrayed my and our Lord Shiva.") Can anyone be termed so? Such long speech of an advocate in a court once again proves how Bollywood films make mockery of the judicial proceedings of India.

On the whole, the story line is important and interesting. It length could have been shorter. Some unnecessary characters have also been included in the film that does not help in narrating central theme. What makes the film entertaining is the charismatic appeal of Manoj Bajpai in the lead role. After all, the film cannot be perceived keeping aside Manoj Bajpai. The thematic appeal remains under covered by stardom.
