In the Same Breath
(2021)

Astute. Arresting. A Must-See.
An hour after watching this documentary, I'm still processing it all. I don't know how to describe it still, but I'll just say that it was visually captivating and it elicited a highly emotional response in me. Please watch for yourself and then write your own review.

Laugh Out Loud Funny
A hilarious parody on adolescence. Great acting and timing so wonderfully comedic. During times like these, I place a huge value on things that make me laugh this much. Thank you for this highlight to my Tuesday!

Cheesy. Gratuitous. Forced.
It starts off very cheesy like something from a Hallmark movie. The whole thing feels very forced. There are a couple of gratuitous sex scenes almost as if they needed to be thrown in to try and keep the audience's attention. The concept is extremely interesting, but the execution is severely lacking.

Zero stars.
Never have I been more letdown by the rating. That's 20 minutes I'll never get back. Slow, disconnected, and gratuitous.

Life Itself
(2018)

One of my favorite movies now.
I was shocked to learn it was Time's "worst movie of 2018". I highly recommend it. I'm not one to watch movies more than once, but I would with this one.

Jungle
(2017)

I thoroughly enjoyed this.
I loved the movie- it's the kind you keep thinking about even after the credits roll. I feel like the naysayers fall into 1 of 2 categories: 1. They're know-it-alls - just because the characters didn't make the choices you wanted them to do, doesn't make it a bad movie- if that's what you're after, go play The Sims! 2. They're people who don't agree with the premise of the movie, but it's based on a true story, so if you want to tell your own story... start writing the script to your own movie!

I may be a bit bitter, but some of the reviews with low ratings on IMDB may have caused me to miss out in this wonderful film!
