Fantastic with little fault Well, there is a lot that can be said about this film. I have read some of the negative reviews.. and it has to be said.. the amount that the 'reality' of the film was being criticised made me laugh out loud. That's the whole point.. it's *not* real. It's fiction. Not everything has to make sense. Use your imaginations! Just let go, *accept* the plot. Don't think about why the world went infertile, just go with it! Only then will you be fully able to enjoy a film like this. Sometimes you need to not think logically. I think the cinematography was simply excellent - hand-held really worked for this. The tension was portrayed extremely effectively. I was squealing at the screen. I can't compare it to the book because I haven't read it, unfortunately. But a shocking, phenomenal and sometimes unbearably emotional movie. I felt very involved. I can see some of the plot holes. But every film has some.. and like I said before, you just gotta forget them.
