I won't deny the fact that my disappointment steams mostly from the fact that I'm myself a 3d animator, and a huge fan of EXCELLENT 3D Animated film makers such as Pixar, Dreamworks, and BlueSky. This being said, I couldn't help but notice the much lower quality used for those ugly aliens (their colors, skin textures, character design, voices, etc), and their world (very empty, ugly colors too, etc). Aside of the technical side of it, one can see that this movie was made for young kids, strictly. I have to remind myself not to take my chances on a film made by Starz Animation again. I might watch a bit if it's on TV.
