Well the positives . Solid acting, the plot was a good refresh and doesn't feel like a reboot and the score was good and had some good nods to the original .

Negatives . Way too long. Movie didn't really start until the second hour. Didn't find the new Pinhead at all scary. But she had a tough act to follow from the great Doug Bradley . He was epic . He brought a gritty dark character driven performance wheres Jamie Clayton poor in comparison and the weird voice they gave her was more laughable than scary. It's definitely the best one since part 4 but that's not saying much considering what happened to the franchise after that. It's a huge shame.

Absolute sexist tripe . If this had been called how to please a man . With a series of men perving over housemaids there would be outrage. But because it's women it's allowed. This is not about equality anymore it's about revenge of sexploitation movies of earlier decades.

Jake. Gyllenhaal at his best ! Definitely an Oscar worthy performance, movie is prob about a 7/10 but he notches it up to another level . Definitely worth the watch !
